I'd look below the rim for a good muley. Lots of areas to hike into. A few wilderness areas to choose from. Believe that tag is "any antlered" seen some dandies both coues and muley. But they are far and few between. Can be a great hunt if you put in the work.

I have a few of my grandfather's old rifles and shotguns! I Still hunt with a few of them too!

Granite Mountain teepee style tarp tent WITH vestibule. These are extremely lightweight, Durable and waterproof. It is seamsealed. Stands with one trekking pole or a 48" stick. I used it last year on a couple early backcountry archery Arizona deer hunts. It weathered multiple massive monsoons and kept me completely dry and didn't blow away in 40mph winds. I'll throw in a BIVY SAC with it as well. Tent is coyote Brown and made of silpoly. $250

Just came back from the X Diamond ranch on the little colorado river. Caught trout on dry droppers. It's private waters, catch and release and fly fishing only on the ranch. Would imagine you would do well outside the ranch with a panther Martin(gold and black) if you are spin fishing. Gotta pay to fish the ranch. Great place to take the family for a few days. Cabins were great and the place is gorgeous

Super corney flick. But kinda funny at moments

Switching mounting positions is quick and easy. It is very adjustable. The most versatile quiver on the market. At first I hated mine but with time shooting with it. I now love it.

Great quiver. Love mine. Really slows down your pin float on those long shots.

The ferry is life changing.

5wt 9 foot is pretty much the 1/2 ton pickup of the fly world. 3wt 7.5foot is a great rod for small streams. As far as reels Redington make some good equipment. A good paring on a 5wt would be a Behemoth or Rise reel. 3wt I would go with a click-pawl reel like a Redington Zero. As far as AZ goes. These two will handle our waters the best. 5wt for the lakes and Lee's Ferry. 3wt for the rim and white mountain streams. Good luck! It's very addicting once you start figuring out how to catch fish!
