If its not too much trouble. Can u give a review on yelp after your experience at the shop? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ryan!

I own em. Great glass for the money. Got em from Ross Outdoors. Got a sweet deal on em. Not sure if they are carrying them anymore. Give em a call. They might have a rental pair u can snag. I love em!

Right on Ryan! Thanks for supporting small business and our family! It means alot! He is a very hard working man And runs a top notch auto shop based on integrity and honesty. Very rare for today's mechanics.

Thanks coach! Will have to do some research. If u are picking them, make sure to flick the head (before picking) to release the spores into to foliage so they will continue to grow in the area.

I run the compact vortex razor hd spotter 11-33x50. Great optic. ill glass with my talon hd 10x. Then if I really need to reach out or start picking shadows mid-day.barley notice I have the spotter. If weight is priority I'd definitely take a look through one. for a 50mm objective it gathers light great. Glass is clear from edge to edge. I can post up some digiscope pix if u you'd like

Koury and his guides pull some nice ones out of there(3a/c). 23 is a huge unit. High mountain pines to desert. Hey, half the fun can be exploring new country.
-
Thought u might bow hunt.lol.. I'd say 23 or 3c prolly ur best bets if u cant pull the bab tag. Ive seen some real nice bucks in both those units.
-
What units do u usually try to find bucks in? Rather what's close to home?
-
Yea. I personally cant justify putting in for the bab. Its quite the hike. Ive hunted bab quality bucks in units south of the ditch. There are huge bucks in all corners of our beautiful state. I try not to get caught up in measuring the success of my hunts in inches but last year I did spend my entire rifle hunt after one particular buck that I scouted hard. Two blown stalks on the early archery. And I missed my shot at him opening morning of my rifle tag(worst tag soup I've ever ate) But if I had 10 pts, the time off, the moolah required to scout/hunt 6+ hrs from home I'd do it!
-
The early archery.
-
Great unit. Both species. High and low country. Good bucks from aspen mountains to open sagebrush. Always a plus when u unit has a wilderness area.
-
My cousin drew 12 two years in a row. No points. First time putting in for the bab..... it could happen. Lol

Parker Colburn's First Gobbler

Congrats! Great pictures! Cant wait to take my youngster.thanks for sharing! -
A year or so ago I was flipping through channels on a sleepless night and I came across a documentary about canned hunting in the US. It was a man and a woman going undercover as "hunting" clients to these ranches that were doing canned hunts under the radar. They experienced the ranchers tranquilizing some animals so clients could easily shoot them. Or theyd set the animal out on the spot infront of a box blind. They even went to various auctions where game and exotics were being sold for this disgusting industry. Was wondering if anyone else here on the forum has seen this film and if they remember the name of it. I was trying to explain our idea of hunting to a co-worker (ethical, fair chase, public land, diy). And comparing it to what these sick people do on their ranches and pass it off as "hunting". It seems like to the general population, the term "hunting" is very broad and very misunderstood. When we are discussing hunting we want to make sure we are talking about what WE do.

Thanks guys for turning this thread into crap. I was trying to get a legit answer to my question. I hope someone out there has the cajones to not bash others personally. Do us ALL a favor n bash each other via PM.
