It was the same for me. We were 80yrds off the 73. Nothing taken from camp either. My truck lets me know if there was a theft attempt. Alarm must have sounded and spooked em. Didnt notice other treads though.

The big bulls are still rolling solo but are close to the herds. The mediocre bulls are running the herds. Rut activity was very sporadic. Vocal till 8/9am. Alot of the evenings I initiated the conversation and called in a nice solo bull but the shot was obstructed. Rutting is very sporadic. One day theyd be singing. The next, crickets. TONS of guys running roads bugeling their brains out. Or just pressuring and chasing elk while still calling behind em. Loco ocho is getting tougher every year to hunt. Too many guys educating the herds. Good Luck!

The rut is stArting to kick in. We were in elk pretty much every outting. But the elk are being heavily pressured. And of coarse you got the guys on the Polaris bugeling, waiting 10 seconds and starting the engine back up and putt down the road 1/4 mile and do it all over again. It was getting the elk very educated and making them shut up. Also, I never got the point of going out at 1am and bugleing the roads. It was ridiculous. The elk are not gunna be where u heard em at 1 am. 3 to 4 miles is nothing to an elk to cover. But I thank you for not intruding on the archery hunts! Wish more people thought like that. AND TO THE JACK WAGONS THAT TRIED TO BREAK INTO MY TRUCK AT CAMP SUNDAY MORNING WHILE WE WERE OUT ON FOOT PUTTING IN WORK. I HOPE KARMA SERVES YOU UP A COLD & MOLDY HELPING OF TAG SOUP AND CHIGGERS FOR WEEKS!

i have hiked it. we went in March. i reccommend everyone to experience the supai. make sure you go below mooney falls. the hike to bever falls is the best part of the whole trip. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

I have also made an adapter for my galaxy and razor compact spotter. The phone camera needs to be as close as possible to the lens of your scope when zoomed in. I made mine out of 2" pvc plug, Felt, 3 screws, and a cheap phone case.
