Heck yeah just ordered a 20! My wife has been wanting a 20 for a while now for day trips. Perfect size for the quad trail rides too. Thanks for the heads up!

So you're a lefty, right?

That's awesome man, I emailed optics4rent to see how much they have non-HD 15s for. Thanks for the info.

http://texasbinoman.com I've seen some advertising here and there for his site and wondered if anybody here has bought any binos from there? I seen that he had some SLC 15s for $1500 and wondering if this is a legit place to buy. Any info is appreciated... -Vincent

Yeah I've seen some non-hd slc's for around $1200-1300, which is what I'm trying to hold out for.

The one we stopped at was the one near costco off of Kino. My cousin is also a Walmart manager and he said the Ina/La cholla location has all the hunting gear at 50% off as well and there is a lot. He just text me yesterday about that location...

Dang ! Looks like a great hunt for sure! Congrats to all!

Right now all the camo at walmart is 50% off. All the kids stuff is marked down so I picked some of those dri-fit type hoodies for my daughter for $9 and camo tee's for $3. They had hats, beanies and fleece on clearance too.

AZ_SAWBUCK, I'm in same boat as you right now. Although I have my mind basically set on some Swaro 15s. Razor 12s are nice for around the neck. What's the going rate/fair price of some used slc 15s right now (non-HD)?

For Sale....McMillan A5....Swarovski 10x42... Vortex kiababs....much more!!!

Great price on that 2200! -
Looks like an awesome time! I will finally be heading out for the first time this year. Although I have my sights on a nice Muley buck.

I think I might have pics/video of this same buck. My buddy was within 20 yards of him and his does. They ate in front of him without a care in the world.

Dude thats a sweet buck! As mentioned above you're a beast with a bow! Congrats man!

Thanks guys! -
How do you cook it to make it "pull"? I throw the meat (quarter, bone-in) into a big crock pot. I throw in a whole diced red onion, diced tomatoes, diced roasted chile verde, fresh finely chopped garlic cloves, and salt. Dump all that into crock pot with meat/quarter and fill it with water to cover meat. Let that cook for about 8 hours or so. I like to leave it a little more than 8 hours, just depends on much meat is in the crock pot. Once the meat starts falling off the bone, I strain all liquid out. I shred the meat up with a fork and hands and throw back into the crock pot with some BBQ sauce and some fresh diced jalapenos. I let that warm up in the crock pot for a bit and its ready! That on kings hawaiian bread topped off with coleslaw is the best! I made it for a potluck at work a while back and everybody loved it. Given the fact I didn't tell anyone what it was lol . People tend to be turned off game meat before they even try it. This recipe was also given to me by a member here but I changed it just a bit to my liking. So this is how I do it.

I've always wondered the same thing. I would like to head north with the wife and kids, camp out and shed hunt this year.

Beautiful! Free bump for a fine looking pistol!

My morning go-to is usually some yogurt with granola and a banana. Looking forward to see what others post up...

Great bow! I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did! I hunt with a D350 and love it.

I know I shouldn't but I've been wanting a bolt gun in .223! Text sent...

Just like others have mentioned above, field care is important! A member here once told me about the ice bucket method. After quartering the javelina and cleaning it up I put all meat into 5 gallon bucket filled with ice, salt and water overnight. In the morning repeat the same process again with fresh ice, water and salt. I've been using this method and all the meat comes out great. My favorite way to eat javelina is making some spicy "pulled pork" sliders with sweet baby rays bbq sauce, topped with coleslaw on kings hawaiian bread.
