I'll be hitting the desert early this saturday morning. I have to work tomorrow so early saturday is the soonest I can head out. I'll be out there around 4-430am with a tag in my pocket. I will also be scouting for my Oct hunt as well, so I can't complain. I just enjoy getting out there and sitting behind some glass.

I went to Ross for the first time this past June. The wife and I were up in the valley to catch a Cubs game and I wanted to check it out. What a great store and customer service! Even though I didn't find what I was looking for, they helped me out as best as they could. I will definitely be stopping there everytime I head up to the valley!

I too keep my rifle full (chamber clear) and have used a cheap Allen rifle stock pouch. I believe it was around $11-12 at sportsmans. It's not too bad for the price, It holds 5 on the outside and it has a small zippered pouch that I keep 2-3 more rounds in.

I did not know that. One of the reasons I want the flex bow model is for the ease of setting up.

Thanks for the heads up rthrbhntng! That's something I'll consider. I am just wanting to get myself a better tent that will fit me and my family. Right now I have a Coleman that I use regularly and it has served me well. I now want something that will last me a long time without any worries!

I have see raspberries in the top of Oak Creek. We went up to Oak Creek a few weeks back for some camping. We ran into some blackberries down by the creek but I wasn't sure if they were ripe yet as most were half red/black? When is best time to pick these and eat em?
