Love those 67-68 front ends and small windows. Those 396 are no joke, very cool find! My Tata's '69 is somewhat still in the family. My uncles father in-law bought it off him and restored it. Maybe one day I'll take it off him. In the past I have thought about selling my chevy, but i just can't. Back when my wife and I were just dating (15/16 yrs old) we used to roll around town in my pick-up. Back when it was missing the front grille, jacked up paint, and no A/C in the summer. My A/C was rolling down the windows and driving faster! I just can't sell it. My kids love cruising in it listening to some George Strait on Sundays!

I still can't believe what a beast that buck is! Congrats once again!

Good luck to you guys out there, be safe!

Awesome! Would love to get me a cat one day!

It's a '70 C10 and 4 speed, ran like a raped ape. Would love to have it back. No ac, no heater, no radio, never left me stranded once and I took it on some hairy drives. Here was my '67 327/4spd. The old lady thought we was on our honeymoon; a pack ride thru the Santa Ritas, but I was scouting for coues. Nice! my '70 is strictly for the street now. CST10 with a/c cab, 2wd. My Grandparents and I went half & half on buying it when I was 15. Then I paid them back the half they paid a few months later. Best thing I ever did! Did some work on it and now has a spot in my garage, my newer truck sleeps outside . Thanks again for posting those pics of yours. Seeing that chevy out like that in the sticks, takes me back to my younger years with my Tata. Thanks Edge!

Thanks for posting Edge. Love seeing these old pics. Love the chevy pulling that trailer in the last pic. I grew up around those chevy's. My grandfather had a '69, my uncle and cousin both had a '72 and I still have my '70. Was my first vehicle ever and it will be my daughters. I still remember going on hunting trips with my Tata in his '69 3/4 ton. Man that thing would cruise the hills in granny gear.
