Using the 15s on a tripod you will notice a huge difference between them and the 10s. I too carry 10s in my harness and use 15s on tripod. I have a love/hate for the 15s. I love the field of view and how it makes glassing that much better by picking out things I couldn't with 10s. I hate how close things look only to peek over my binos and see that its much farther hahaha

Please tell me there's video. I was thinking the same thing! Would love to see video of that!

Awesome! Congrats to your son getting it done! Love the character on that tacoma! -
thanks man. Not a great pic of the truck. Best looks at the lines on that truck again. Hint, think it was a '68 and had a 390ci I know '67 came with small (rear) window cabs and some '68 c/10 came with both small window and standard window cabs. I have a '70 myself and was brought up around those 67-72 chevys. Very cool pics you posted. Those pics show some great memories. I need to go through some of my old pics and post them up...

That bull in the back of that chevy looks nice! Very cool pics!

Its a really bad idea to keep it in the heat in the summer. I was told the BCY string material goes to the can after 120F. Pretty easy to get that hot in a car and close in a garage. Good to know. Looks like it will be moving into the house! Thanks.

Its okay just be careful dude.. Recently went hunting with my buddy and he wasn't wearing his Bad Lands back pack so I ask " what happened to your Badlands?" He goes on to tell me that a rat chewed through his Badlands backpack that he kept in the garage.... So just be careful dude....I keep my bow in the hard plano case in the closet.. I put one of those hooks in my sons closet and he hangs his bowtech in the closet.. Thanks for the heads up! I always keep my bow in a hard case so hopefully that keeps anything from making its way in.

I keep mine in a hard case in the garage. I have been keeping it like that for a while now. Seems to be doing good. Is this ok to keep it in the garage?

Passed on big buck. Right move?

I think you made the right choice. Like QhunterAZ said above ^^^ even the smallest weed or branch can throw that arrow way off. I think we owe it to the animal to make the most humane and ethical shot as possible without injuring it and never to be found again. I was in a similar situation a couple weeks back. Me and a buddy went out for some deer/javi hunting. We were following some heavy pig sign, when my buddy (who is about 50 yards in front of me) signals me to turn around. I look behind me and there is a tall 3x3 muley about 60 yards from me walking solo. I don't think he seen us because he was casually walking to the top of the hill. That would've been a perfect shot, BUT there was too much cholla and brush in the way to make a clean shot. No way that arrow would've hit its mark. We ended up slowly making our way up the hill to find him. Never did find him. That's hunting. -
Recommendation for a Scope on an AR Style
PelaPapas replied to trphyhntr's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I kept my front irons on my AR with red dot. I just had it co-witness with my front iron sight and rear flip up sight. Worked great for me. You could always swap out the front sight post for a low profile gas block if you wanted it out the way. Pretty cheap, and easy to install. -
Recommendation for a Scope on an AR Style
PelaPapas replied to trphyhntr's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Like stated above ^^^ I've owned and used the primary arms red dot. Great red dot for the $$$. I've also used the Bushnell TRS-25 red dot and is similar to the Primary arms. Both worked great for me and never had any problems. I am leaning towards to throwing on a scope on my AR as well for some yote hunting. So I'm in the same boat as you trying to find a scope to top it off with. -
