Yes I have used them, great stabilization out of them but I do feel they are noisier than blazers so it's a trade off. I went to the AAE PRO MAX vanes and they were incredible for mechanical heads. I recently changed back to a fixed blade (a whole nother story) and am running blazers as they are bigger and more stabilization out of them than the Pro Max. I have had great results as far as accuracy with the AAE vanes.HOWEVER..... after (I highly recommend never doing this) standing down range and having someone I trust with my life shoot them by me(I was behind a protected area) I could pick out the AAE vanes every single time vs the blazers. There is also a really good video online about the blazer vanes and durability. After further testing and thoughtful discussion with many respected names in the archery industry I added another post. Yes rain does affect arrow flight, and a wet string isn't good. If you properly wax your string and cables and keep them waxed then it will not absorb the moisture but it will sit on the surface. All of this will slow your bow down some but how much depends on what you shoot. Heavier arrows will be affected much less than a lightweight arrow. A couple things to keep in mind, I'm the kind of hunter that considers my bow a tool to be used not a safe queen that can't get dirty or scratched. If you practice in real life hunting situations like wind, rain, shooting from different positions and with an elevated heart rate then you will be more prepared for the circumstances each hunting scenario will provide.

Stabilizer? How do you know what works best for your set up?

Sounds great thanks. Ask for me if you don't mind. I enjoy meeting other members. -

Apache and Akaspecials we have a few in our store and I welcome you to come down and ask for me (JR) and I'd be happy to let you try them out while explaining the difference in each one. Everyone's opinion is always welcome but honestly it's the shooter who should ultimately decide if he likes or dislikes the way the bow feels with one on and how it feels during the shot. -
Today at paseo 60yards.

Anyone have the pan or pistol grip they're considering selling or trading let me know.

Just curious but what unit is that?

Any one have a good connection or know of a reasonable place to get this? BTW I'm in Gilbert. The wife is now starting a raised garden so just started looking. Thanks.
-
That is awesome. I've been hearing a lot about him and his calls lately. I was debating buying one but now I know I am. Great post. Thanks.
-
Thanks, doing a raised garden so no tilling. I'm going to check the rock places but thought I'd ask here first as I'd prefer to give business to a forum member if possible.

Doubt it will make it that far but my son just offered to donate money he's made doing odd jobs around the neighborhood to CW for them for his first hunt. So I'll take 3rds.

Trust me it's not something to brag about or be proud of

Do turkeys usually stay in one general area or do they move around a lot?
-
I've now seen elk, coatimundi, javelina and turkey in 23 along with horses and cattle but have yet to ever see a deer there but have seen tracks. I have a feeling I'll find Bigfoot before I find a 23 deer. I usually hunt 24 A/B and always see wildlife there.
-
I saw them right off the road by the spot with the tree with a curve to it. And yes they were making noise every morning.
-
I'm sure we all hope they get caught but truth is they probably never will.I understand g&f being spread thin and manpower issues but with clear cut evidence one would expect results. I know I have personally caught someone baiting and posted and reported it with descriptions of vehicle and person along with location and I can and have been there recently and found the stand and a fresh bait pile months before season and nothing has been done.
-
And maybe it's just me but in Gilbert they seem massive this year.

Sounds awesome
