Does anybody NOT buy scent free products for archery hunts?
Maverick351 replied to naturegirl's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I make my own scent killer that works great and is a fraction of the cost of the store bought kind and it works as well if not better. My wife makes our laundry soap and gets 10 gallons for less than one bottle of store bought detergent. It's all very easy to do and works great and is good on sensitive skin. -
Ok its an Alaska Guide Creations. I run a pair of 12x50 Razors in mine and fits snug but good.
-
Very interested. But what is the mix?
-
Thanks for all the advice. Is there a best time to call? Morning or evening?
-
Is there a particular call that you prefer? Planning on buying a caller this weekend for the hunt. Just curious what sounds are best or that I should load on the caller.

Leaving Saturday after work, 23 for Archery bear and or deer. First legal thing to pass in my comfort range has an arrow flying at it.

Backpack Reviews – Horn Hunter
Maverick351 replied to Western Hunter's topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
I just read this and this is the actual pack I use and its extremely versatile and well built. -
Kinda why I was saying we had the original ones at Archery HQ. We've already had a few guys complaints they bought BH online from various stores and the don't fit their arrows. We are almost out so if anyone is looking for the original ones for standard arrows don't wait long

Ok sorry

I wandered into a muslim book store the other day....

That's funny right there -
Ike, there are different models of ulmer edges. The standards and then the stainless. Also different weights.
-
Then my mistake. The lady at g&f just gave me that info.
-
Yes and spring hunt went past its quota so together it should exceed anual.Right?
-
Ok I'm confused. If 9sows have been reported then that should close the unit for the rest of the year
-
No one else is producing them nor is anything lined up at the moment. Archery HQ has about 30 packs left as of last night but everyone coming in has been buying multiple packs at a time. Once they're gone there will be no more.
-
Congrats. Great job. I'm hoping the unit stays open so I can go after one with my bow. Thanks for sharing your story.

Like new. Looking for $100 or will consider possible trade(&I may ad cash) for an e caller. Located in Gilbert work in Chandler.
-
So when will we know if it will open back up on the 21st
-
Hmmm I thought that water tasted funny
-
I have heard you can use them to help bring in a bear if sitting a blind or stand. My question is will using them scare away or make other animals such as deer hesitant to come in? Also for a first timer is there a e caller that isn't over $200 that will work well?
-
OK thanks. Will using an e caller to attract bear scare away a deer? Just thinking of sitting a blind or stand during the Aug/Sept hunt and like everyone else willing to shoot whatever comes first. Thinking about the caller to help attract a bear in the area but still hoping for a deer.

I don't personally see anything wrong with wanting whatever dog you want. I just think it's a shame that all these designer bred mutts are fetching such an extremely high price tag and being over bred or cross bred so much.Pure breds that have good lines and not inbred are seemingly harder to find

http://www.labbies.com/silver.htm This explains most of it

The ones on campfire are the stainless models not the original ones that made them popular.
