Have sounds like you have the 624 not the 634. I have b the older style 634 with the twist lock legs and it is great. The newer style with the flip locks adds about 8oz but makes it steadier in high winds. Either way that tripod with an outdoorsman head is an awesome set up.

I just ordered one from online. Thanks guys

Been looking at a few, found a 10x14 Kodiak flex bow tent online I like. Anyone got one for sale or have a recommendation on where to buy one from? Looking at that size maybe bigger since i want an 8 man. Cabelas is out of stock and no eta and bass pro is $150 more than everywhere else. If you have one please private msg me or text me @ 480_434_7146 as I am not always online. Thanks

So the wife myself and 5 kids from 13 to 2 so figured with the smaller kids an 8 man would be good using sleeping bags. And most of the time the older 2 want to sleep in their own tent anyways

Pending New Record Archery Coues
Maverick351 replied to bonecollector's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
As long as it was a legal kill it's an awesome job and that guy will have stories to tell his kids and buddies for years to come. Congrats to him for an awesome buck that anyone would be happy to have. I am for one happy to see an avg Joe kill it than someone with deeper pockets who hired a team to find it and set everything up for him. -
Any chance anybody from the East Valley is going to be heading up there today I'm not able to make it but I'd like to get something picked up from there 480-434-7146

So obviously much bigger but if I'm not buying a boat or an RV or an out of state hunt guess there isn't much huh? Any Texas guides selling hunts? Is the Archery stuff just the 3d shoot?

Anyone go today?

Beautiful work. I need to buy me a turkey call from little creek.

Anyone have a good affordable one for sale?
-
Thank you all but I have found one.

Already dealt with Craigslist and its fakes and flakes. Figured at least here people will be honest about what they have and represent it truthfully. I drove out to deer valley last evening to look at one that was (like new) only to find a bike with rust and looked like it was dragged down a gravel road.

In Gilbert and thinking SM/MD but not sure if I would fit a L. 5'11 but shorter legs. Been out of it for a long time. Looking to get back into it at an affordable price. Kinda hoping for hardtail but willing to look at a FS. Guess it just depends on what's available.

Jim White Head..... Trade for Outdoorsmans Pan
Maverick351 replied to Weston's topic in Classified Ads
Sun unless metau was that first guy to msg about selling it sounds like it's you who would get it. Unless he didn't give you the 24 hrs. -
Good looking bow. Looks just like the ones we sell at the shop. They fly off the shelf faster than we can get them it seems.

Giving it a shot in August and have never done it before so looking for some advice and suggestions on anything.

Thanks. I've learned a lot reading what everyone has posted.

Archery HQ will be carrying the mystery ranch packs very soon. Thay are already on order. We are going to be the exclusive dealer in the metro area.

I decided to get a custom knife a while back. After much searching I found a guy from Texas I wanted to build my first custom knife. We talked a bit about what I wanted and he sent a few pics of ideas he had. Well after all that I picked the shape, length and color of the blade then picked a wood and shape of the handle and this is what we came up with. He is almost done just needs a bit more finish and then he is making a leather sheath to fit it precisely. I'm excited.

It may look beautiful but it is still just a tool. It will be used hard
-
Same basic stuff any knife is used for. But its a better quality, longer lasting knife with better quality control and craftsmanship then the manufactured knives of similar costs. At least that's my opinion. A knife is just a tool.but some people prefer a quality tool over harbor freight tools.

Very nice looking. I will be looking for another custom knife sometime in the near future for the wife as well as my oldest son. I am really tempted to go with the same guy just because of the service and amount of details that he covers.
