You bet- wet hackled nymphs- slow retrieve. A favorite of mine is the -Callibaetis Mayfly Nymph. Grouse Hackle simulates the legs. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/features/canada/can299.html This one works awesome in the white mountains- they love that peacock herl also. AzP&Y Doug -

Shawn Patterson's bull was entered into Pope and Young this summer. Summer 2007 Newsletter sent to P & Y members... It officially scores 412 1/8- taken from Coconino County in 2005. Here is a picture and article on this bull. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/hunting...Patterson_05-06 The second largest ARIZONA archery bull elk was taken by William Wright in 1992 and scores 404 0/8 - Coconino County. Anyone seeing lions while out scouting?

My Sentiments EXACTLY-----------------> I glassed up 2 this week. Nice healthy toms. In fact one of Toms sat at the bottom of the bottom a ravine and I watched 2 nice bucks go into the cut in the mountains. I saw one of the bucks come out , but didn't see the other one. Just a bunch of noise (screaming and shrieking) and what I would think was the lion trying to take down one of the bucks (nice 3x3)... Pretty crazy, but I truely wish the season was open and public pressure was not the rule of what is perceived to be a shortage of lions... AzP&Y
