I know that you said mobility may be an issue, but this is the best way to get out into that country: THE ARIZONA TRAIL- runs smack through the heart of 35b. In addition to the stand I wouldn't "skimp" on the safety harness - that is one critical piece of equipment for any treestand hunter.... Generally the harness that comes with most treestands is avg. at best. Good luck! AzP&Y

December late coues hunt- I'd hold out for that hunt , unless a TOAD presents itself with the archery equipment. There is nothing like the cool, crisp mornings of the December hunt! When will that tag come along again? Could be years... Jan will be here before you know it. Good Luck! AzP&Y

Sweet pics for sure. Reminds me of so many trips I've had up there. I've been to Alaska 12 times and NEVER have gotten bored for a second. I always long to go back. I've never seen the Yukon, but that is on the list of North American Adventures. Thanks for sharing your experience through pics- Some of those AK roads are rough, tumbled and nasty.
