I don't know what they are concerned about, I haven't seen a game and fish officer out patrolling in the field in over decade and I hunt 70+ days a year.

Those things are awesome... I heat my lunch up in them every day. It will warm up a frozen burrito in about 15-20 minutes. You can also cook soup or left overs in there. Best investment I have ever made. It has also survived bouncing around in my truck on rough 4x4 roads for the last two years. Most time my food is so hot I have to wait for it to cool down.

If you go hunting one more time and leave me with the kids...

According to the USFWS Brown Canyon is closed to hunting. I remeber several years ago the USFWS bought the Brown Canyon ranch and made it part of the Buenos Aries Refuge. Here is there web page... http://www.fws.gov/refuge/Buenos_Aires/visit/hunt.html

When do I have to try and put in for my hunts so that I am not called a last minute a$$hole by the guys on here? 1 hour before deadline? 1 day before deadline? 1 week before deadline? Because last year I tried putting in for a week prior to the deadline and couldn't get the site to work. I thought a week was plenty of time, but it was not. Thank God for the extension. If you promise something to someone and then don't deliver you are a Liar and a Cheat. But we already knew that game and fish were liars and cheats.

Just depends on the weather... Pray for warm weather so the grasses start growing and they have something to eat.

So... According to Game and Fish regs, border patrol is exempt from this law. Also the regs say, an "individual" may not use the following, does not say that an individual can not use information gleaned from another. Sounds like G&F overstepping their bounds again.

R12-4-303 Unlawful Devices, Methods, and Ammunition A. In addition to the prohibitions prescribed under A.R.S. §§ 17-301 and 17-309, the following devices, methods, and ammunition are unlawful for taking any wildlife in this state: 1. An individual shall not use any of the following to take wildlife: a. Fully automatic firearms, including firearms capable of selective automatic fire; or b. Tracer, armor-piercing, or full-jacketed ammuni- tion designed for military use. An individual shall not use or possess any of the fol- lowing while taking wildlife: Poisoned projectiles or projectiles that contain explosives; Pitfalls of greater than 5-gallon size, explosives, poisons, or stupefying substances, except as permitted under A.R.S. § 17-239 or as allowed by a scientific collecting permit issued under A.R.S. § 17-238; Any lure, attractant, or cover scent containing any cervid urine; or Electronic night vision equipment, electronically enhanced light-gathering devices, thermal imag- ing devices or laser sights; except for devices such as laser range finders, scopes with self- illuminating reticles, and fiber optic sights with self-illuminating sights or pins that do not proj- ect a visible light onto an animal. C. Wildlife taken in violation of this Section is unlawfully taken. This Section does not apply to any activity allowed under A.R.S. § 17-302, to an individual acting within the scope of their official duties as an employee of the state or United States, or as authorized by the Department.

I heard from a friend today that Game & Fish was threatening border patrol agents with citations if they continued to help hunters. This was from a friend at the Nogales Station. I would think Game and Fish would have better things to do. Agents were told not to give any information to hunters from now on.

I think the 1/4 mile law is for the discharge of a firearm, not a bow. Unless your hunting in city limits and they have a differnt regulation on bows.
