Happy B-Day cramerhunts
AZ402 replied to azpackhorse's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Happy belated b-day Phil......... -
I used the Danner Jackels durning my early season scouting and hunting. I liked them quite a bit. The sole is fairly quiet and they've help up well so far.
-
Nice job! I love mule deer hunting in NV....
-
That would be great, the hunt would end Oct 1st. Maybe they'll be kind to us archers.
-
My guess would be Sept 11th ending Sept 24th in 2009.

Good stuff and congrats to Jim, he deserved a good one.

Is that a picture of Travis at graduation? Or at MLB training camp? It's a pic of Grong after a skate contest at the Cottonwood Junior High, go Lobo's. (If it were Trav, his hair would be frosted blonde in the front) At first I thought he was 380ish but after looking at the video I think he's 360's. That main beam on the right side is way short, heavy though. I'd like to see him on the dirt, we never even pursued him. Someone had him running into no mans land at first light opening day. -
Congrats again to you and your Dad......
-
You watch your tone with me Travis. I'll have one of your sisters kick your butt for me.

Ran into this little fella a week or so ago. Pretty cool looking snake.

Very cool........

A few more elk scouting pics

We have that bull on video as well. He's a stud no doubt but I'm thinking under 370. -
My dog turns 12 in January. He's still going, just not as fast as he used to. It was a quick evening hunt, 9 shots, 5 birds. Johnny BirdDog and his take.
-
Well not exactly but it's an Arizona Alligator Lizard. This dude popped out at sunset near a spot I was glassing for elk.
-
Josiah, that buck is truely great!!
-
You wouldn't have gotten more than an appetizer out of this guy. He was maybe 16in long. I let him walk, so maybe next year he'll be a main course.
-
A few from this A.M. Action pics. Resting after a slow morning.

It's nothing fancy, a Stoeger 20ga SxS. My wife bought it for me as a gift about 3 years ago. I really like it and will probably buy the Stoeger Condor OU sometime this year in a 12ga. For the money it seems to shoot well and has some decent wood.

Those are some of the better field photos I've seen in a while. Great bull and pics, congrats guys.........
-
Not sure how I missed this one. Big congrats on a very cool bull!!!!

Here is a pic and a few links to some more photo's of a giant one of our clients, Randy Cramer Sr. shot this past saturday. (for more pics www.mcclendon-elk-hunts.com www.nsvpro.com) It was an early rifle hunt on public land (not an auction tag). Randy is a long time friend and truely appreciates and admires this great bull that he shot. (cramerhunts uncle) John McClendon guided the hunt and was assisted by Randy Bryant. Congrats to all involved. 433 gross as is and estimated over 450 if not broken.
-
I saw that and was sort of suprised but not really. I've been fortunate over the last several years to either be a part of or hold some of these giants shortly after they were harvested. Out of all the bulls, this is one of my very favorites. A picture really doesn't do this bull justice. I actually got goosebumps when I walked into Randy's garage and saw the rack on the floor.

Awesome dude!!!
