My 11 year old Son Brasen shot his first coues in early December (1st big game animal). This Friday he shot his first javelina. Opening evening of the youth hunt he made a nice 150yd shot on this sow.

Do you have an approximate round count?

January 1st, some glassing,some stalking and my season was over. It'll make my Fall a little easier to plan with this one out of the way.

Pentax PF-ED65a with 20x60 eye piece. Nice little spotter, glass and body are in great shape. $400.00 Good condition Ruger .22-250, red butt plate, tang style safety, heavy barrel, Nikon Monarch 2.5x10x42. I have under 50 rounds down the barrel. I bought it used and am not aware of the previous round count. The interior of the barrel looks to be in great shape. $650.00

Congrats on a super cool pronghorn! I'm glad I was able to make it up for the day!

My wife (Carol) finally drew a deer tag here in AZ with her friend Jen (her first hunt as well). Both Carol and Jen put the time in shooting and preparing for the hunt. They both wanted to hold out opening weekend for something that wasn't a spike or two point. On Sunday morning we glassed up a nice buck and decided to make a stalk on him. We closed the distance to 200 yards and started to get set up. The buck moved himself into a nice shooting lane and Carol 12 ringed with the 300wsm. Seeing her reaction to her first big game animal was awesome. Big congrats to my wife, she put in a ton of effort on this hunt. Jen did great as well and I'll add her story when I can get all the pics loaded and sorted on my computer. Here are a few pics from the hunt. Here is my 2012 goat from another state. I'm more than happy with him that's for sure.

As of Sunday Afternoon they had checked 300+ deer (East & West combined). We saw a ton of deer and a couple good ones at that. As with most early hunt on the Kaibab, the 1-3 year old bucks were the vast majority of the ones taken. It's always awesome up there, can't wait to get back up there soon....

That is one cool looking buck! Congrats......

I over judged him a little, I thought 82. I knew I wanted to shoot him regardless of score if given the chance. Off the P&Y score sheet, Right horn 40 2/8, Left Horn 39 6/8 = 80 0/8 green gross and 79 1/8 green net.

I tried spot and stalk on him last weekend and it didn't quite work out. I went back this weekend at waited him out at a water hole. I passed a bunch of other bucks that came to drink while I was waiting for a day and half. I was starting to think he left the area. Here are a few more pics.

This is the reply when I wrote an email to AZSFW. Stan, This is intended to help with some serious issues that sportsmen are facing today. You must not have the correct information or have missed the intent of this bill, however I do pray that your business does well and people know you are doing your best even if they disagree with you. This time of year we are reminded that Christ's approval rating was very low and he was only doing for others. Thank you, Mark Nuessle

Doug, it was a one sentence reply to one of AZSFW mass emails. I stated I thought they had stabbed the AZ sportsmen in the back with this bill. Really nothing more than that. I don't know if he knows I'm a Christian and mentioning Jesus in his reply might sway me? Not sure but I found his response very odd.

Great letter, apparently old Bonuspointjohn didn't take to kindly to this stance by the RMEF.

Is there any legal precedent for the AZGFD to sue for thier/our tags if they're stripped of them by AZSFW?
