EliteXC will have their fight card on regular old CBS tonight. I think it starts at 8:00 P.M. AZ time. It's and interesting card ,not the best card but interesting. I'm looking forward to the Lawler vs Smith fight. Kimbo and Thompson will most likely be a flailing slugfest. If you haven't seen Thompson fight, there's a 100% chance he'll run full speed at Kimbo as soon as the bell rings........

Faber and Swanson have never fought. Fabers only lose was to UFC 155'er Tyson Griffen. UFC would have to create a 145lb class. Since UFC and WEC are owned by ZUFFA, it's not likely to happen soon. I'd love to see Faber and "Kid" Yamamoto go at it!!!

Kimbo trains with Bas Rutten, so he has some ground skills. Thompson had been training at Extreme-Couture, so he has some ground as well. I have a feeling it'll be a stand up fight though.

Should be a good fight! I'd have to give the nod to Faber. Pulver does have thunder in his hands. He may not be as good a wrestler as Faber but he is good. I'd lke to see Jens catch him but Faber is a world class 145'er.....

Yes he was. He now trains with Team Quest out in Temecula, CA. He is fighting in a few weeks as well.

I was fortunate enough to make it to UFC 84 in person. This is the second UFC I've been to and I think this one may have been better than the last one I was at. I met more fighters than you could believe. Some of the coolest guys where Clay Guida, Jens Pulver and Evan Tanner. The best one for me was walking down an empty hall way at the MGM Grand and running into Jason Mayhem Miller and Ryo Chonan (Mayhem is one of my favorite fighters). Here are a few pics, most casual fans wont recognize these guys. My favorite pic is of me and my Son. After seeing everyone pose all weekend with their fists up, he wanted all his pics taken like that.

It was a real nice shoot with great weather. It was nice to shoot the breeze with Doug for a little bit on both Saturday and Sunday. That was one of the better smokers I've shot in a while. I'll miss Clints Well due to being out of town. I should make the Morman Lake shoot the 1st week of June and most other throughout the Summer. Hopefully I'll run into a few others CWT'ers out on the courses........

I'll get some photos for sure. I feel like a goon asking those guys but they are usually really cool. The last time I went I didn't get as many pics as I could have. I'll make sure I don't do that this time. Thiago Alves is though but I think Hughes can take him and I'm not even a huge Hughes fan. I was pissed when they pulled Rashad from his Thiago Silva fight on this UFC 84 card. Thiago is a beast and will go a long way in the LHW class I think. I think he would've handled Evans. I'm way pumped for this card, I think it's overall better than the last one I went to. Less than two weeks can't wait!!

It may happen this year in AZ, hopefully. I'll be heading to UFC 84 over Memorial Day weekend to watch Penn destroy Sherk. One of the guys I train with just backed out, so I have an extra ticket as well, anyone interested???

Looking through Duovids can make all kinds of things look crooked.......

It was taken out of Pakoon Springs in 2005 IIRC. It's neat country out in that area, not somewhere you'd think a gator would be hanging though.
