Bloodtrail dog available for "rent'
bonecollector777 replied to WildHeritageTaxidermy's topic in The Campfire
Just curious. . if you're making any money off the whole thing by renting out your dog to help recover game aren't they gonna make you get a guides license and all that? They make all the guys with mules who wanna pack dead animals already killed out get those licenses so might wanna check on that as well. -
Tried your link and don't think it's working.
-
Not sure if this is appropriate haha but thought these two pics were pretty funny when I checked cams last night.
-
Haha funny you posted this because I did the exact same thing setting up my tripod and adapter. Took me an hour to figure out what the heck hooked to what and what needed to be taken off and what needed to stay. Glad you figured it out!

No the reservation isn't included for the tag. Judging by pics its gotta be 27 or 1.

I'm confused. . When has it been illegal for someone to set up spotters and act like they are there with a hunter? I also don't think anyone has a right to try and force someone to show you their tag. If an outfitter has 100 guys surrounding a hillside with a buck on it I'm pretty sure there is nothing azgfd is gonna do about.

I agree with coues n sheep. Almost seems like if someone has the capabilities and time to spend to do something better than someone else the people that don't have those abilities and time wanna figure out how they can level the field. If you wanna kill huge animals year after year like outfitters do then put the same time and money into it as they do and you'll get results. If you don't have the time or money then you're out of luck. Just like people can go buy a jet and I cant. I don't think it's unfair that they can and I cant. If I want to I'll have to suck it up and figure out how and if I can't then I don't get my jet. The animals out there aren't claimed or taken by anyone until they die and have a tag around their antlers. Everyone has the same opportunity to go find them and kill them. Just some guys have more resources to do it. That's just life and has been that way in all things since the world began. Some people have to money for it and some don't. Get out there and scout hard and you'll find nice animals to kill. Some guys do it themselves and some guys pay others to do it for them. Whatever floats their boat. Their money and they can buy what they want with it. More regulations never has helped or will help anything in this world.

At least we have one guy that will admit it! Cuz I dang sure would too. And we don't really know the story so who is to say his hunt wasnt slightly challenging at least. Obviously much easier when you have guys following the bulls everywhere to help locate when it's time to kill but isn't that what hundreds of people pay guides for every year? Why is it so much different when the auction hunter does the same as nearly every person that hunts the strip for deer and hires a guide.

I have heard a lot of guys says that they don't like the way the auction hunts go but let's be honest we would all be doing the same thing if we had the money to buy the tags. Anyone that says they would turn down a 400" bull because someone else found it and showed it to you is full of it.

Bull on the right has to be pushing 400" and the non typical looks like 415-420". I'm only assuming that the smaller bull is close to 400" if not over because I don't think an auction hunter would shoot a 370" bull. Seems like a lot of money so better make it worth it! Just curious what does Mike do? Where'd he get the extra 500k to buy the tags? I heard something about owning a wine company but don't know.

Bone 777 you know what i'm talking about , i know you do. It's ok to admit it. Haha why would I be jealous of anyone or the animals they kill? I'm happy for anyone that kills a big bull or buck. Just like the rest of us are. We all enjoy seeing the pictures of them and that's all this thread is about. Your choice to turn it into something else. It's funny how every time anyone brings up an animal that's big people start throwing out how jealous we are of it. Why in the hellwould we be jealous of anything anyone killed? Do you think it upsets people when you try and say they are jealous? We appreciate what people kill and that's that. If there is some sort of story behind how an animal has been killed illegally or wrongfully then I'll bring it up and talk about it. But that's not the case with this bull. I know the story, have seen the pics, know where it was killed, know some guys that hunted it in the archery season and couldn't kill it and that's that. So now that the original poster had informed us it will be in eastman's soon we will now sit patiently and wait to see it there. No need to turn this whole conversation into a fight about something that was never even said or talked about until shedhunter showed up.

Bull was killed in unit 23 chompy. . Since its SUCH a big secret I figured I'd help relieve some tension.
-
No drama here unless you make it up like you're doing. Noone said anything about this bull not being real or claimed anyone was lying about it. You randomly decided to say that's what trophyhunters intentions were by starting this thread and therefore you started any drama that might be happening now. People just wanna see the thing so why not leave it at that? Why assume everyone is wanting to discredit it or prove it's fake when someone just asked a simple question. Why do you feel like you have any place to come to the rescue and act like you know more about the subject and think it's your place to tell us not to ask questions about it? Does it give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside and make you feel special like you had something to do with this bull?
-
No it says no flying starting 48 hours before any big game season except mountain lion season. Once deer season gets going there is a big game season all the way through January.
-
Haha! Lovin' it . . That's gonna get some people going.
-
$1200 an hour?! Holy smokes. . If you're gonna go up I'm pretty sure you'll have to go before the archery deer hunts start because it's illegal after the first big game season starts. If I read the regs correctly.

I know your not going to like this answer. I can't say until the magazine comes out. Just a little bit longer. Sorry.I am so glad you stuck to your guns. As you can see it just tears up these grown men that they have to start yet another thread about your daughters bull and wether or not it was real. Fact is you know she knows and your family that all ate that wonderful back strap know. Some people have nothing better else to do but start stuff. Congrats to you and your daughter once again. I am sure the wait will be well worth it.Don't think anyone is starting anything they shouldn't about the bull. Just curious about what's going on with it. Probably because none of us have ever heard of one certain bull having to be kept a secret for so long without so much as a score given out. We're not saying it's not real or true. It's like knowing you got a new gun for Christmas and it's all wrapped up ready to be opened but having to sit and wait all morning to get it. They wanna see that bad boy! That's all. We waited this long and I already saw a pic of it so I can wait another two months or so to see it again.

I called today and they told me the same thing about call next week and we will know. Guess I shoulda told her to check for me. All the tags I applied for still had tags after the update of the list so I'm pretty sure I'll get something just wanna know what!

Those are some good lookin bucks at the end! Did you ever hunt them?

White Chevy with camper in Heber for the fireworks
bonecollector777 posted a topic in Sticker Sightings!
Was walking down the road to my old house to watch the fireworks and noticed this guy off the side of the road. Has another great sticker to the left of the coues sticker as well! -
Went to buy one and says out of stock! Must have just missed it
-
Whether you agreed to the price or not you still got screwed on the deal. People that charge that kinda money for a box of .22 LR are just hoping to find someone desperate enough to pay it. And looks like he found his man. So yes I feel bad for you for buying that crap.

Lots of older carbon arrows and old tripod

So my dad is cleaning out his gun closet and we came across these items. Some may be antiques or someone might have some use for them. There is quite the assortment of arrows so I'll describe them here and list the pictures in that order. No clue what they are worth but let's start off at $5 an arrow? All measurements are tip of arrow to top of carbon not including nock. Would prefer face to face but will ship if you pay. 1. 1 New Gold tip expedition hunter 7595 31 1/4" 2. 1 Never been shot old version Gold Tip XT Hunter 5575 28" 3. 2 Cabelas sst 240 32 1/4". One has nock and no insert. Other has insert but no nock. 4. 7 Beman Hunter 80/100 30 3/4". Never been shot. Two without inserts. All with nocks 5. 11 Beman Hunter 360-16 31 5/16". Never been shot but they all had 100 grain field tips I took out and one is stuck in it. 6. 7 New version Gold Tip XT hunter 5575 27 5/8". Some have been shot and need refletched. All have nocks and HIT inserts. 7. 13 100 Grain field tips. 8 are a fatter shorter type and 5 are longer skinnier version. Thinking $10 for them? 8. Super old XR 200 Tripod with tripod head. Appears to extend to about 60". $20?

Looking for a Vineyard or Winery Near Payson to ShowLow area--Crawfish Festival
bonecollector777 replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
I'd say go through young through Roosevelt and then come up the hill to Heber. Not sure what you'll be driving but that young road can be a bit rough of you're in a car though.
