30-06 Stainless Tikka T3 Hunter with B&C Medalist Stock
bonecollector777 posted a topic in Classified Ads
Looking to sell my like new condition .30-06 to fund part of a semi custom build. Gun has been fired less than 30 times and is in perfect condition. Would be tough to tell it from a brand new one. Stock is Olive green with Black webbing. If you have any questions message me here or send me a text 928-240-3567. Asking $800. Would prefer not to ship. Rings and bases not included unless you want them for $50. -
Guess I'm trying to say once that picture has been passed through hundreds of different people and sites and emails and texts asking/having permission to show it here is kinda pointless. I don't feel that there is anything legally/ethically wrong with it. Any rights to the original picture are long gone. But to keep you guys from hanging me I'll resist my temptation to post it.

It's one thing if someone tries something like taking credit for it or not mentioning his name or saying it's his buck. But I see no problem with posting up a picture of a huge buck that clearly has no logo or copyright or anything. Once that thing hit Facebook it spread like wildfire. Same thing that happened with that 311" buck that was killed in Colorado. The thing was posted on every hunting site known to mankind and sent to me through text and email about 25 times from different people. I don't think there was anything wrong with it getting spread around like that. People just wanna enjoy seeing the buck.

Just curious what the big deal of posting the picture is? He posted it on FB for all to see. Koury somehow felt it was his place to post it on his site with a faint watermark of his company that had nothing to do with it claiming he wants to protect it when it's not his to protect. and it's being text all over the universe. So . . Why do we care if it's posted on coues?

Haha I would love to help and all but I'll be helping someone in 29 that weekend . .

no really it's a legitimate question. Can't imagine what the manufacturing process uses to come up with that price.

That's what it sounds like... I guess since your glassing the canyon you own it now? If the buck was 300 yards you should have shot or passed but to be mad because someone else shot is stupid.. Public land dudeso since it's public land people should just throw ethics out the window? Anyone can do what they want and that's fine? I don't think he really cares that certain buck died but the way it happened.. even if it's public you shouldn't just go trample into a canyon you know someone is obviously in hunting a group of deerand knowing they are there you flip them off and continue to hunt as if he wasn't there. If you are one of those people you should stay home. Yeah it sucks when someone is in an area hunting deer you want to hunt or planned to hunt but if they beat you there you should leave. We learn that when we are 10 in hunter safety class.

Where are you located?

Well I'm pretty sure I knew who it was when you first posted this haha . . Does it start with a K?

First off, you are not allowed to drive anywhere you want on the Apache Sitgreaves forest like previously mentioned. You're fine if you're on an existing road but no you cannot drive offroad anywhere you want for any reason. If you're cutting wood or getting a downed animal then you can. We definitely don't need a forest management plan to close half the roads like up in the coconino. Yeah it sucks with so many roads but there are still places to get away from people. Some places like the 300 road, 50 road, 166 road etc. You will never get away from people if you don't get way out in some nasty stuff. My friends and I had a 182" buck down first afternoon of the hunt with no trucks within a mile of us. As for the guy cutting wood that's just how it is there. My family cuts wood and with so many people doing it these days you have to go to some crazy places to find it where it hasn't been cut.

Any idea who the guide was?

Male 24 Two tickets both in school zones. One when I was 19 one when I was 22. First one I was going 21, second one I was going 19. Both were from motorcycle cops who were in really bad moods from sitting there all day in the sun. Both were $150 but did traffic school for both.

Not sure if you're joking but did you quit your day job to be a full time trapper?
-
Might get some snow but you better get up there early if you wanna fit three camp trailers somewhere. The amount of people on that hunt is unreal. Helped out two years ago and wouldn't do it again.

Not knocking the post or sale but what in the world could a pack have on it to make it have a msrp of $900? Can it make you fly or is it made out of gold? Just curious
