Saw you had a post from last year at this time and didn't get drawn. This year you did and congrats. Are you in Utah? If so, why are you not hunting Elk there? I have heard that Utah has some great Elk hunting. Don't know what their system of draw is tho.pretty sure Utah is as hard or harder than AZ to draw.

I don't think you can return the tag once you're drawn but I think you can cancel your app up to a certain date.

Im one of those that complain about extending it and what you said Sounds Like a great idea. My app went through just fine when I did it a month before the deadline. Those that did it last few days shouldn't have special treatment for procrastinating.

and if they don't have them mailed out by then they will just change the deadline. That's What AZGFD is good at.

Let us know what they say when you get a hold of them. Curious to know if they are gonna be having to basically have people that put in towards the end do their apps again over the phone. If so they are gonna have a ton of people to call and a lot of stuff to sort out before the draw happens. Gonna have to wait til they post the results with the deer results haha
