PointGuard, good idea or money making scam?
bonecollector777 replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
I think it's been discussed pretty deeply so far. As long as the current rules stand as they are there will be abuse. There will be guys making a lot of money off of it. I really don't know who azgfd picked to design the program but they managed to pick some of the dumbest they have there. So many little things that could be done different that would fix the abuse and they act like they don't care. And then the part about how the tag is reissued is mind blowing as well. But I don't really expect much more from azgfd. As long as they're getting their money they don't care what happens. -
Recycling cans and plastic bottles

OR if you use it and have the cans and bottles sitting around you can recycle them and help out and make a little money and help teach your kids to work? -
Recycling cans and plastic bottles
bonecollector777 replied to My Rights As An American's topic in The Campfire
I think aluminum was around .75 a pound. Takes a ton of plastic to make any weight and they only accept number 1 plastic. Which doesn't include milk jugs etc. Most bottles have the recycling symbol with a number inside it showing what grade of plastic it is. -
It's that dang sasquatch. . Think I might see a squirell?

Recycling cans and plastic bottles

I sold my first load of plastic bottles a few weeks ago and highest price on plastic I could find was .45 at a place off country club and broadway. Forget the name though. Pretty ghetto place. -
What size Bulls in the area?
-
Don't you know the clients don't go out and look? They stay home and when they find him a big bull they call him and he comes and kills it. No confirmation but I've heard they found a big bull for the client this week so if it's true if imagine he will be dead soon. Before August 15th

That's what I'd consider decent on a leftover tag. A regular coues hunt in a unit I know and better time of year decent would be 100"+ but on a leftover tag I'm not expecting much. -

Where would the job be?

This cow was taken guided. Mostly blind hunting over salt I believe. But if you don't know where to go it's tough from what I've heard. Call russ jacoby and he will give you all the info you need even if you don't go guided with him.
-
And yes July 17th
-
Yes it was Kaibab. Don't know if you have looked into it but he was contacted by a guide up there (I'll have to get his name) that basically contacts everyone with a tag usually and helps them figure out the best way to kill them. Supposedly if you go in there scouting it will scare them away to the park and he helps guys even if they aren't going guided just so they won't scare them off. I know part of the guiding was done by chads guide service. Could call them and he could point you in the right direction.

Haha quality Antlerless? Oxymoron?

My buddy killed his cow bison three days into the hunt up there.

I don't think they established a process for that did they? Just kinda said it could be one of many things. I'm hoping its just the next guy in line that would have gotten it because I can't imagine the chaos with everyone trying to race to get one tag. Guys that live closer would have an advantage as well.Yeah, I'm just speculating. Not sure how they're gonna handle it. We shall see!I talked to a guy the other day who claims he has verified the process with the Game and Fish officials. He drew a good tag, and used a lot of points. So he is going to walk into the office after August 1, and give back his tag and collect his points. He will then hand them a completed application for the same tag, and buy it back as he will be first in line for the now available over the counter tag first come, first serve tag.Haha I really hope that's not the process but if it is that's brilliant and shows how stupid the system they have in place is. I really can't see that being the process though. Makes no sense.

Doubt they are done with it. I'd imagine they have a truck load of envelopes to look through.

Are there any Grey Wolves near Forest Lakes????
bonecollector777 replied to Big Browns's topic in The Campfire
Yes they are around forest lakes, Heber, Young, even if they say they aren't. I've seen one and multiple others have seen them around here. And they are supposed to or maybe already have released more towards Chevelon in 4a -
There's your extra bull from last year. Looks like he lost an extra but grew his right one longer.
-
Haha I just got it right. You posted pics from three cams and I guessed where two of them were. I had the tag last year and had cams there as well. I deleted the comments as to not let anyone else know where they are but got some nice Bulls coming in. Good luck.

There you go.
