Draw reports have been out for a while. Point creep wasn't any different than other years for there. Expect to have 17+ points for a chance in the bonus pass.

By the way it's sounding we can't get on until Sep anyway but those units are all within an hour of Yuma anyway so won't be too bad if we have to drive an extra hour. Just would turn it into a scouting trip.

Any of you Yuma guys know if they keep the ypg closed until Sep 1st? My brother drew 43a and I've got maps of everything with water holes. There's about 4 water tanks on the ypg I'm wanting to put cams on but online says scouting can't begin until Sep 1st. Would prefer to get them out asap but if Sep 1st is the first day we can deal with it.

Also think they mentioned they changed it to in person in 2014 in a video on their website.

Yeah I've found all the forms and such but you have to get the permit in person anyway after a little orientation. I know the sheep will move from summer to December but would like to get an idea of what's hanging around the area. I've tried calling multiple people today and no answer so maybe tomorrow.

Unfortunately 5 points is nothing these days. With loyalty and hunter ed you can get to 5 points in 3 years after you draw. Any decent tag is taking 8+ and the strip and kaibab is gonna be pushing 20 points for a guarantee here soon. Always that chance to get lucky but expect to wait a few more years for anything real good.

I'm gonna agree with the blues side of it. 13 year olds don't appreciate sheep tags. Need to make a rule you need atleast 5+ points before you even get a chance to draw. But congrats either way should be fun.

My question, they can upload hunt choices, how many points you had putting in, if you bought point guard, what tag number you drew, update bonus points, but they can't just include the d@mn hunt number you drew?

Anyone heard of this or know anyone that does it? Thinking of having a picture and some initials engraved on the bottom metal of a gun. Just seeing if anyone knows anyone in that business. From what I've seen it's possible to engrave a lot of metals with lasers but can't find any solid pictures of anyone having it done to a bottom metal from a rifle. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
