Rains showed up too late. Guys have been saying it's gonna be a banner year. But as of two weeks ago before it started raining every day our 30 and 60 days precipitation maps had most of the state far below average rainfall for that time of year. Look at the maps now and were way over average. Probably will help the deer but too late for elk. Bulls are done growing and will rub in the next 2 weeks.

Life must be boring? Why do you care what two adults choose to do? Yeah it's probably not the safest but if I choose to let me friend shoot an apple off my head why should anyone care? And Cam is one of the better shots out there so it's not like some random dude pulled off the street to give it a shot. Do you also get upset when daredevils jump the grand canyon? Or when racecar drivers drive 200 mph? Or when anyone does anything dangerous ever? I thought it was a pretty good shot.

Here's my final say on this whole subject. First, whether you believe me or not I've learned my lesson regarding cameras. Whether it has a 400 inch bull on it or just to take it just because is never right. I knew that before I took the cam and know that even more now. I let the desire to find a big elk overcome what I know is wrong. And I paid the price. I'm fine with that. I was taught growing up you pay for what you so wrong. And that's how it should be. So having said that that doesn't mean it's right for other guys to continuesly brand that guy as a horrible terrible no good person because of one thing they did. Yes they have the right to do so but does that make them any better than the guy that took a camera? You can decide that. I have the emails, text messages, $500 court fine, and apology letter for anyone that would like to see them if they don't believe I tried everything in my power to make it right. The main issue I'm having with this whole situation isn't the fact guys are upset I took a camera. That's fine. Hate me all you want. But the issue is the hypocrisy of nearly every person here that easily forgets the things they have done wrong in the past. Some of these guys would never imagine stealing something, and that's great. I commend them for that. But they forget about the time they cheated, lied, sped, or broke whatever hunting or other law there is to break. They like to forget about what they did wrong and it's easy to attack the guy in the public eye that stole a camera. That's natural of someone to look past what they have done and attack the guy that is being talked about. I'm 100% comfortable with how I've taken care of the situation. It's simply the hypocrisy of others that keep bringing it up that gets me going again. Yeah I should probably ignore it but it's tough for me to let things go when guys are adding to the story or claiming I'm still out there doing that stuff. It's your choice to believe me or not but when I respond to this stuff it's almost always to defend myself against someone bringing it up. Once again I'm not gonna act any different towards guys on this site if they ever want some help on a hunt and if guys choose to not associate themselves with me that's fine. That's a consequence of my actions and I accept that. Just don't come on here acting holier than thou perfect when there are a lot worse things guys here do than take a camera.(Not saying me taking a camera was just a little thing but in regards to how severe one wrong thing is compared to other wrong things) I get some guys can't stand a thief but yet they will give a different guy a pass that got a DUI last week. I'm willing to help nearly everyone that asks for help whether they are straight shooters or poachers. I don't care. Me helping others on their hunts from this site doesn't make what I did ok but I'm not going to stop interacting with guys on the site because a few guys can't get over the fact I stole a camera. Yeah a lot of my opinions and things I say on here upset people but I'm simply speaking my mind. Some guys don't like that and some don't care. Whatever. Bottom line is don't be a hypocrite.

that's like saying the only time anyone is sorry for doing something wrong is when they get caught. So therefore if anyone does anything wrong whether it's stealing, lying, cheating, poaching, Speeding, etc. They can't be sorry or learn from it if they get caught doing it. Only if they admit it before getting caught. Pretty crazy logic if you ask me.

First off you need to understand I don't have any hate for A3. I respect what they do and the animals they kill. I understand the anger they had when the whole camera thing happened. I'm fine with that. I've taken care of what happened with A3. I'm friends with a lot of their guides. What I don't respect is people claiming to be perfect law abiding citizens tearing into me that then get caught red handed guiding and killing bulls on the rez a month after the incident. And another incident that involved the same A3 golden boy on the reservation AGAIN. You like to always bring up the family aspect of it yet there's certain situations you have put yourself in that aren't any better than some situations I've put myself in. But I won't get into details on those because I know you know which one I'm talking about. So don't think I'm commenting that this bull is smaller than what they say it is just because it's A3. But I have spoken personally to a certain taxidermist that has scored bulls after their scores and they are off by more than a few inches. You said it yourself if a bull is 410 why would anyone ever think they needed to add inches to a bull like that? That's an amazing bull anywhere anytime. Yet certain individuals still add all kinds of inches to an already amazing bull just so they are that much cooler. I'm still not sure why the obsession with said A3 golden boy but sooner or later it's all gonna come out and he's gonna bring down more than a few people with him. So that's where I stand on A3. I don't hate them, I simply disagree with the way they and certain guides of theirs are off doing things worse than stealing a camera and at the same time want to crucify the guy that did everything in his power to make it right after it happened. But I understand you're friends with them so you'll stick with them til the end. But just remember this post when your buddy goes down. As for being a firefighter in the public eye I didn't know they disagreeing with an elk score was something the public cared about. I'll be more careful from now on.

Of course it isn't official in any way but at least he knew what he was doing. In the field they got 422. Later it was scored at 425.How about Wilbur? What did the taxidermist score him at after they got 430 in the Field? Definitely didn't come up with 430". I believe it was in the low 420's. Not really that much different than you being off over 4" on your 200" deer. Try more in the 410 range or a taxidermist that scored it just made it up. Green score of 204 with an official score of 200 inches 60 days later isn't even in the same ballpark as 15-20 inches on a bull. And also im not ashamed to post up what he officially scored once I found out.

Wait. . I didn't realize the people of "the site" was the one that gave me permission to continue posting or to be here. Or that they had some power to punish me. Maybe the fact that one bad incident doesn't change the fact that I've helped countless people on this site with hunts and information just like they have helped me with hunts and information. My nonchalant attitude isn't about the camera and what happened. That part has been taken care of and I feel more than comfortable with how I took care of it with the guys that it involved. My nonchalant attitude is toward the guys that just can't let it go when it had nothing to do with them. If you don't like it you can always not click it or block me. The whole deal is in the past and I'm not gonna let it deter me from continuing to post as I see fit. It's just amazing to me some grown men can hold grudges and cry about things from the past more than most women.

You guys notice the trend (this is like the 100th time) flatlander and shedhunter bring something up about me and camera. I answer back in a sarcastic joking way because I don't care what any of them think and the situation was resolved with the people that were actually involved. Firstcoueswas80 answers back angrily about what a bad person I am for joking about it. Then a back and forth insult fest goes on for a couple days until shedhunter or flatlander brings it up again in a few months. I'll keep playing if you wanna keep it going.
