Headed down to the heat today to set some cams and check out the unit. Ran into all kinds of sheep just driving around and got some good pics. Found a couple nice looking ones and a couple smaller guys. One young one that looks like here in a couple years could be a beast. I'll post pics of the two biggest even though one is missing his whole left horn. It looked super old with a big pot belly. Those of you that know how to judge sheep better than myself throw out some scores. I'd like to see if my estimates are close. The ram with both horns has broomed his right horn back about three inches less than his left but I couldn't get a pic of his right side. One horned ram sadly isn't gonna be on the hitlist but curious how big he might have been with both horns. Included a back view of unicorn to show off his trophy sized nuts.

Found about 10 bulls hammering a water hole morning and night biggest is a 330 ish 6x6. Sit it morning and evening almost guaranteed to kill.

Haha sorry. They sat the pond another morning and evening saw two more good bulls working their way in but must have smelled them or just were being cautious because they didn't get a shot at them. Didn't end up killing and had to head home for thanksgiving.

Both calves and hamstrings? Just one hamstring cramping up about kills me. All four at once I may have been using the gun on myself. Sounds terrible. Sweet buck!

Come to 3c there's several million here I'm pretty sure.

Update: four raghorns came in at 5pm didn't have a good shot. Back at it in the am.

Two days ago he hit at 5pm. The few days before that he hit two mornings in a row at 730

If he kills tonight or tomorrow I'll send you in there last day if you're still hunting. Have another spot a 5x5 hits pretty regularly during the day if you wanna give it a shot. Haven't checked his tank in two days though. I assume he's still hitting it.

No noone expected these elk to be where they are including myself. I was guiding a hunter and we found them yesterday morning hunted the biggest bull hard yesterday and this morning but he had to leave this morning after the hunt. Since they are doing away with the 3c late archery tag next year I don't mind telling someone with the tag this year where to go so figured someone might as well kill something! I've got a few guys that messaged that have the rifle hunt that will smoke these things. Gonna have to pick the first guys that messaged though so it's not too crazy out there though.

Best thing to ever happen to 3c deer is when they got rid of the youth hunt. Kids just want to be out there with their dad and have fun. Most youth hunts have worse odds than regular hunts so it's tough to get them anyway. Give them a bunch of deer tags in 4b where they're gonna shoot a 2 point and be just as happy.

Should have shot them. Attacking your hay like that they deserved it. Didn't see the meteor though unfortunately.

Don't know where you're located but check into Richard Owens at hunters lair taxidermy in Show Low. Great work and generally lower prices than most guys.

I've killed all my turkeys right at sundown! Find their roost trees and ambush then as they come in. Awesome!!They use the same trees often? just get up real early and shoot them in the roost. Easiest way to do it.Unethical, not to mention illegal.Not agreeing with it but I'm not sure there is ant actual wording in a law saying you can't shoot them from the roost.

They felt bad for me and gave me your tag.

Be careful with those eBay capes. A lot are from Idaho Montana or anywhere up north and they look nothing like our deer. Especially if they're killed in the winter with a heavy coat.
