Awesome and successful trip in many ways... Glad that I could be involved with such a great group. This year defiantly had it's ups and down's for everybody but we finished on top. Can't wait to make some Mallard's hit the dirt!!!!

A friend of mine is in 6A looking to fill his bull elk tag. This morning he was out on FR-9465K and the FR-132A and ran into a dead cow elk. Its right before you get to the 9465K off 132A on the east side of the hill. He said it looks like it was shot last night. I have never had this happen and unsure what to do? Please advise!

Didn't see anything opening day but a couple deer. This morning finally got into 2 groups of about 10 cows. It's warm out and the moon is helping at all... Anybody had early success? We Have heard shots both mornings but yet to see some antlers! Reply or PM

One of my favorite parts about hunting is the stock. There is nothing better than making that slow crawl to get as close as possible to put yourself in the right position to take a trophy. A friend of mine was hunting elk in Montana and had a couple bulls bugeling all around him so he decided just to lay flat in this open field with tall grass. Sure enough within 20 minutes he had a bull within a couple feet! (He claims he saw his balls) As an avidit hunter I understand the secrecy of everyone's honey hole and I would never ask as I feel it is the hunters duty to find the game. However within a month of finding out I was drawn for my first deer hunt I broke both my legs and my mobility and stamina are not quite up to par. I have been doing some minor hiking with my boots and the swelling is pretty intense. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or history in Unit B that they could share. Again I'm not trying to steal anybody's honey hole I'm just limited on hiking. If anyone would like share please message me as I would love to tag my first buck this year!!!!

I broke both my legs on July 15th driving home from another weekend in the woods. Freak accident I tripped and fell @ the In & Out burger off Carefree Highway...It was a successful trip (minus the fall)... My main man/hunting buddy was drawn for deer with me and elk in 6A (sensitive subject LOL). First time checking the game trail camera and wow was it worth it, nothing but Bulls!! Its been a rough couple months in a wheelchair, crutches and multiple casts but....... I'M BACK!!! It will be 10 weeks this weekend and the first time I will be able to lace up the boots! I was drawn for Mule deer in 6B and I'm ready to go venture out back into the woods!!! Got a tee time @ Pinewood CC on Saturday, it's going to be a great weekend and I cant wait to hear those bulls screaming! Brad
