i have hunted with this gun for the past 3 years and i will never go back i9 live in van buren county, MI and i will never use a shotgun again. it is a 50 cal. laminate stock with a 3x9x50 simmons range hunter pro. i paid about $500 for scope, gun, andevery thing else to shoot. t takes me about 5 min from start to finish to clean. i load it the day before gun season starts and it stays loaded till i shoot. i use 150grains of tripple 7 pelers and a powerbelt bullet. sunday i took a 275 yard shot across the corn feild and droped the doe in her tracks. in the 3 years i have taken 13 shots at deer and killed 12 of them. if this gun is a little expensive i would also recomend the optima pro made by cva (i think) i also had that gun but sold it for my omega. you can shoot the omega even in wet rainy weather b/c it is compleatly sealed gun they say it will fire under water i am 17 and for the rest of my life i will use my omega it will be the last muzzeloader i will ever use. i also have the t/c encore gun with multiple different barrels but that is sooooooo extreamily expensive i have about $3000 in barrels and scopes for that gun . but it is also convient to have that many options
