To answer your other question, yes sometimes coues bucks run with mulies. The coues buck in my avatar was running with 4 mulie bucks

Interesting. I'm glad a compromise was reached. I feel the price for a "hunter assist permit" is a little steep. Sucks for the people who live to hunt with their families. Other than that i think the rules are fair and reflect what hunting used to be back when.

Ya I use that site through my place of business. They sure do have some great deals on there. Only thing I don't like is that some deals aren't made available to me.

I love my 2011 Taco. Gets 19mpg average around town but mine is only leveled out with standard size tires. I think it would pull it just fine. May be a little slow on hills because of the added weight. The only thing I would be worried about is the back suspension being a little light if your boat has some weight to it. I've noticed mine gets a pretty low when I fill the bed up to the bed rails with green pine.

Anyone want to share theirs? The one I use now is starting to get old. If its got some spice to it that would be a bonus but not so much that it burns coming back out. Ha

I have the same tag! I guess I need tp do some Google earth scouting and find this tank! Jk I have my area already

El Pato is better IMO. Also it makes a great taco sauce if you add it to browned ground elk or deer and let it reduce a little. Now I'm making myself hungry again

I like red salsas better but I'll give it a shot

Using 2-way radios while hunting. Legal, ethical or what?
mpriest replied to Whitesheep's topic in The Campfire
I have always been under the same understanding. On a separate note, did the regs say it was illegal to harvest an animal with a radio-collar? If so, I ever knew that. Ya its not illegal. Anyone who has ever put out a radio collar would never shoot an animal with one on though. Depending on the species, researchers may have thousands of dollars invested in time and materials to put out a single collar. Plus the data that will be missed because that collar is no longer deployed is invaluable. -
Dove Hunting
mpriest replied to azheadhunter's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I did well around Flag two years ago and actually limited out a couple times. Last year was terrible. I only got one shot off. Seems like if there are good rains that last into September then the doves move down into the desert. -
I like a ground blind because I can make a move to better position myself if animals are skirting me.

January will not be as hot... -
+1 on what he said. The only thing I might add is I leave some water and food outside of my truck when I am parked down there. I have heard that a lot of vehicle break ins are from illegals looking for food or water so I figure its best to just leave them some in order to save myself a window replacement. But then again I have never had them take me up on my offer

Its the Chinese hacking into the site!

Yep. My Droid works fine but I can't get to it on my computer

I think it will be better than last year but still far from spectacular. We need several consecutive years with good winder rains to bring the numbers back up.

Sad to hear but VC lodge was my favorite.

Good to see this is finally passed. I agree that some roads should be closed but the FS plans are way to extreme to accommodate the ever growing OHV community. Moderation is the key.

Forest closed this morning-rather stealthily done

Agreed. Too many stupid people out there. Better safe than sorry. -
I got one in Flag. I'll even throw in a few clubs that are in there too

Slick Trick broad heads are all I use. Their interlocking blade system makes them bomb proof.
