I was prolly about fifteen yards. I had the wind blowing strong in my face, and he just kept feeding towards me. I could have killed him with a bow several times. thanks for the input guys!

wow, I was really expecting a bigger score on him....like low 390's haha! well that's why I asked all you guys' opinions! thanks all! also this picture was taken June 26th, and I was on the Blue Ridge Hotshots (handcrew). I got this picture after I was running down the hill, toilet paper in hand frantically in search of a spot to relieve myself. upon seeing this bull I completely forgot about my situation and never ended up going haha!

My thoughts exactly couesntime! these are all the pics i got. i only brought out 9 horns in nm. i lived here all winter day dreaming about all the spots im gonna go in nm, and now im moving back to az. so only got out once. az better watch out because here i come! someof the pics are kinda small :/ kinda hardto see, glassed it upand took a pic through the binos bull still packin spot the horn both sides laying there! the set together

picked up a few in southern new mexico, no browns though. last i saw there were three bulls with no horns on their heads though!

went out scouting for elk today with a couple buddies and got a little off track....

Hey guys Mathews found me on a different site and requested i post a few pics for yall. I have been shed hunting for several years now and last year i hit big with these White tail horns i happened upon while looking for elk horns! i found the first side after i glassed up an elk horn accross the canyon. i went straight down and straight up to the elk horn but before i got to the elk horn i paused half way up to catch my breathe. i turned around to see where i came from, and not three feet from where i had stepped was the first side! picked up a few smaller elk horns but nothing else. came back a week later for the other side with very little hopes of finding it. this time i brought my cousin and we camped out! luckily whithin the first afternoon of looking i stumbled upon the second side! anyways enough rambling...
