Fur going to sale tomorrow.
Ghosthunter replied to Hyperwrx's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Anyone out there know where a fella might be able to sell off a few of these critters? Ideally I'd like to just sell them off to someone and let them skin and treat the hides. I never knew there was a market for them here in AZ? Thanks P.S. I hunt and live in southeastern part of the state. -
Give the Hornady 130 grns a try. They shot really well in my Brothers .270 Wearherby and after running them through the Chrono, it came real close to Hornadys claim of 3200 FPS.

WANTED - A Few 30 Caliber Berger Bullets
Ghosthunter replied to rossislider's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Rossislider, there are several websites out there where you can buy small quantities of different bullets in order to avoid the purchase of a full box. Here is one of those sites, http://www.bulletsamples.com/Stock.html. I believe they come in quantities of 12? If interested, I have some 168grn bergers I can spare. -
I would go Slik all the way. They specialize in tripods and have it down to a science on weight and functionality. I have the Slik Pro 330ez and it comes with a head similar to the Jim White head. Holds my Leica 12x50's very stable.

.264 Win Mag Powder Choices
Ghosthunter replied to scoutm's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have to agree with "cohofishing" H4350 is where its at. The 4831 is temperature sensitive and i have found it produces inconsistent speeds at higher temps. Scirocco's are a good bullet choice. -
Great Story, Thanks

Price Drop? -
I did some testing on the Hornady 130gr SST's. They seemed to group really well and after running them through a chrono they were pushing 3186fps. They came in very close to Hornady's claim of 3200fps. Took these rounds out to 800yds without any trouble.

I use Zeiss wipes on all my optics and have never had a problem. Use a lens brush to clean off the dust and debris then follow up with the wipes.

Firstcoueswas8", I'm sure you've heard this before but don't do it. Go hunting instead and if she's still there when you get back, she's a keeper!
