Nice, I've been tossing around the idea of using all the sheds I've collected and putting the together for a hat rack. I haven't been able to put together an idea yet?

Awesome find! Unbelievable glassing, strong work. -
Why do you always have to questions everyone's posts! He admitted and apologized for coming off a little Strong! It's obvious that he is pissed as would anyone. Anyways.... Sorry to hear about your blind. I hope you find him and tune him up a bit. Maybe he will think twice about stealing another mans gear!

How big of a difference should a broadlead make?
Ghosthunter replied to bearbowman's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I always sight in with my broadheads and if my field points are off then who cares as long as they are grouping. If your broadheads are punching where you aim id call it good! -
Kenton Industries Turrets
Ghosthunter replied to couescrazy31's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have two of these turrets on my rifles in 25-06 and .270. Both outfitted with zeiss conquest scopes. These turrets work great for quick field reference. I have ordered several others for friends and family and all have worked flawlessly. I based the turret info off of a ballistics program that I use and the turret and calculator info were identical. I believe Kenton is using this program or something very similar. I have taken my .270 out to 800yds and I'm hitting a 14"x12" Steel plate at that range. I have seen these turrets perform on numerous occasions out in the field on various game. I love them and will continue to use them. Hope this helps? -

Copper fouling w/ Accubonds
Ghosthunter replied to az41mag's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
+1 +2, I'll run a bore snake while the rifle is still warm and call it good. I don't clean copper until I see a decrease in accuracy. Maybe every 200 or so rounds. -

Mule deer or Coues deer?
Ghosthunter replied to crazyaboutcoues's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Coues !!! -
+1, none of us were there to know what was running through those Agents minds. Everything to date is merely speculation and until the facts have surfaced we can only assume what happen? I pray for all those involved.

Copper fouling w/ Accubonds
Ghosthunter replied to az41mag's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Be careful not to leave some of these solvents in "overnight"! Most of these products are ammonia based and will corrode the bore. I always follow up with some Hoppes #9 to clean any residual out. -

+1 on Sweets 7.62. CR-10 works pretty good as well -
I over judged him a little, I thought 82. I knew I wanted to shoot him regardless of score if given the chance. Off the P&Y score sheet, Right horn 40 2/8, Left Horn 39 6/8 = 80 0/8 green gross and 79 1/8 green net. Good looking buck either way. Congratulations

Best choice for hunting/field sidearm
Ghosthunter replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Hey longtine, I was wondering the same thing! That is some real impressive shooting " firstcoueswas80". I don't know anyone that can shoot like that but if what you say is true I think Springfield Armory may want to sponsor you on their pistol team. Lol -
Awesome bull! Strong work

Maybe there is something in the water down there! I think I'm going to start calling in 36B and see if I can't take one of those lion sized Boone and Crocket Bobcats! Could it be possible that it was a Hybrid Cat?

Very nice antler configuration, looks like he would have been a toad in a couple years!

Addict, How does one go about getting on of those landowner tags? Id like to give something like that a shot sometime. Whats the going rate for a tag like that?
-
Hey Longtine, maybe you should start soliciting for Finders Fees?
-
Right on, I was just curious. As you probably already know trying to gain access to some of the ranches in that area can be tough! Congrats on your harvest.
-
Bigbugpete, Congrats on a successful hunt and a great buck. Was that Ashurst ranch that you killed him on? it definitely looks like one of the bucks that longtine scouted.
-
Nice buck! Any idea what he scores?
