Custom build. What caliber would you go with?
Ghosthunter replied to briant_az's topic in Long Range Shooting
Here is a website that I often refer to when looking for information on a new build. I am personally leaning toward the 7mm wsm for my next build. http://www.6mmbr.com Good luck -
Are bipods really worth the extra weight?
Ghosthunter replied to AZ_SAWBUCK's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have a Harris mounted on my rifle and fits fine in my X2? Yes you can mount a sling to the harris once installed. Some rifles come equipped with dual studs so the need to mount the sling to the bipod is not needed. -
Want to get into reloading
Ghosthunter replied to coueser4's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
It sounds like you're doing it wrong with the inertia puller. 3 whacks and the bullet should be free. firstcoueswas80, he didnt say that it was'nt effective? He said "no more sweating, no mo cussing". +1 on the collet puller. Those inertia hammers are weak and just dont hold up over time. They are made of plastic and eventually break not to mention they take longer to load the round and remove the bullet as opposed to the collet puller. -
I have decided to sell my 99 Ford Superduty 7.3L Diesel with only 141,224 original miles. I am the second owner of the truck and have owned it since 2003. This truck has been meticulously maintained and is in very good condition. Interior is in very good condition, no rips or tears and never smoked in. New Batteries were installed this winter. New Transfer Case was installed at around 60k along with a new torque converter. New Turbo with upgraded turbo pedestal (EBPV delete) and brass downpipe gaskets installed at 125k. Truck includes power steering, power door locks and windows, cruise control, air conditioning (blows cold), off road package, towing package with brake controller, and factory alarm system. I have receipts for all work performed and mods that have been done to include the following.. 6" Fabtech Lift 17" Helo Wheels 35" BFG All Terrains 70% Tread? Stainless Brake Lines Dual Remote Resevoir Shocks upfront Piggy Back Resevoir Shock in the rear Dual Steering Stabilizer Line-X Spray in Bedliner Chrome Handles Custom Light Bar with three 8" Hella Rallye 4000's Custom removable Mudflaps AFE Intake Edge with Attitude Programmer 4 " Exhaust, Turbo Back with 5" Tip Chromed emblems Nerf bars In Dash DVD/CD Kicker Amp Memphis Audio Door Speakers 8" JL Audio Sub with custom enclosure Billet Antenna and rear brake light cover Billet grill and Fuel door. Just an FYI. If you will be looking for a Ford Super Duty with 4 doors and a full sized back seat that model is referred to as the crew cab version by Ford. Might save you some time if you use a browser to do searches for vehicles. Yeah, that's the reason for selling it. It worked great when it was just myself the wife and one kid. Now two more kidsnlater its time to let it go and get a four door. I had planned on keeping this truck till the wheels fell off but things have changed. Had I known this along time ago I wouldn't have put so much money into it. Oh well, I suppose you live and learn.

For Sale Clay Pigeon Launcher, Dodge Ram
Ghosthunter replied to WallHanger's topic in Classified Ads
Well considering that you stated they were given to you by your SUPERVISOR and knowing that you have made it very clear who you work for, then I would say that his ASSumption is correct! I am just going to chalk a lot of your mindless talk as a rookie mistake! -
Shorts on the 3rd Hunt!
Ghosthunter replied to Week'nd WaRRior's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I am not to worried about the heat, we will just have to use different tactics this year for glassing. I am worried about the moon phase this year. I wish I would have looked at the moon phases a little closer when I put in for the draw. Oh well, it should still be a good hunt and I'll make the best of it. Good luck everyone, I cant wait. -
Very cool! That's the first one I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

Not big enough! You should let him grow up a bit and go after him next year. Where did you say he was roaming? Hahaha

stuck cases in my resizing die
Ghosthunter replied to swaro06's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Try a little break cleaner. When mine start to get sticky I'll spray them down and be sure to lube the cases. -
So where's your pics? LOL
