In the new March/April issue of Arizona Wildlife Views, there's an article about this very subject. Within the article, there is a map of Arizona indicating where current feral pig populations exist. Much more than I expected. Considering how fast they reproduce, I bet there are unknown populations scattered throughout the state.

With exit pupil of 3.7 and 3.0 respectively, you are sacrificing light with either bino. During the day you could get away with it, but during dim light conditions, the exit pupils of your binoculars will restrict the light available to your eyes. Reason being as it gets darker, your pupils will enlarge. Depending on your age, much more than the 3.7 and 3.0 these binos offer. 12x50 is a better setup.

Probably my all time favorite hawk! Same thing happened in my backyard. I was in the kitchen with the arcadia door open when I hear a very loud THUMP! I look out and see thousands of feathers floating through the air. The hawk was looking at me like..."What? I was hungry!" lol Thanks for sharing.

A month or so ago, there was a promotion for a free $25 gift card from Bass Pro when you renew/extend your membership. I received my NRA renewal packet, but yet to see the gift card. Anyone get their Bass Pro gift card? No biggie as extending my NRA membership was the priority, but that little freebie would be nice!

The problem isn't an online draw process. The problem is an online VENDOR problem. Why AZG&F can't get this right is confusing to say the least. If it were me, I'd hire the vendor with a proven record in running an online draw regardless of price. Its really that simple. If you keep calling the same plumber to fix the same leak time after time....do you think it's time to call a new plumber?

Don't automatically pin it on hunters. It's proximity to Phoenix opens the door to all walks of life. Hikers, birdwatchers, free-love patchouli smelling individuals, wacky tobacky crew, college frat gang. A lot of non-hunting people walk that range and may not approve of our hunting tradition. They see something that is hunting related and decide to make good on saving Bambi. Heck, some guy decided to drive his Mini Cooper up the hill.....

You're half way to alpha glass $$$. Keep saving for awhile and you'll get there. Buy once, cry once.

The Winslow hunt is tough. With the salt cedars(tamaricks) so thick, it's a heck of a time finding them. You have to know where they cross the river back and forth from the private fields back to their beds to have a chance. If you've never walked through tamarisks, it's a new adventure! You will literally be leaning sideways up against them just to walk! lol Good luck!

I bought a "pirate patch" at Walgreens in the eyecare section. Think it cost me $3. It's the only way I can use a spotter during extended use. With the exception of the quick look through the spotter, keeping one eye closed causes rapid eye strain. It helped me a ton on my antelope hunt. However....you will look silly!

Set out my first trail cam on a well traveled game trail. Exicited to see some animals, only to find 4503 pictures of nothing!!!! Yes, that's 4 thousand!!! What the heck??? I got 4503 pictures of a patch of ground near Tonto creek! UGH!! Obviously, I made some mistakes...discovered it was set to 3 shot burst....one error I made. Any tips?

Thanks for all the tips! It sure is a learning curve. Amanda, the cam was out for 3 months.....but unfortunately my card filled up in just one week!! It was taking 3 pics every minute of the day until dark. Clearly the sun and shadows were wreaking havoc. LOL Another lesson I learned: I need a bigger SD card! haha Your video clearly shows you have everything going right with your setup. So time to try again!

Ok thanks! I noticed as I was going thru them, a mesquite tree was swaying pretty good, so I'm guessing that was triggering it. So the 3 shot burst is ok. Good. Will check the sensitivity. The cam was facing north. Did get a couple coyotes and some foxes!! So not a total waste!

I agree. That show is a complete farce and pure entertainment. It's funny that every sound they hear is a "squatch"! Utter foolishness! They have all this high dollar fancy equipment....and still no evidence. And that stupid CGI ape monster going/coming back from commercials is pure comedy. Ive been in the woods since I was knee high to a grasshopper....Ive yet to hear or see this mythical beast!
