Problem with Hollywood today is the reliance of CGI to make movies. No one acts anymore. Throw a couple people in front of a green screen, have them read some lines and then let the computer do the work. Way too much CGI today. For example, we're watching "Its a Wonderful Life" tonight. There is something real about the acting. Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, et al., actually used talent to produce a great movie.

Man, you folks need to get out in the desert and clear your heads....maybe hunt some quail! I will say this: There are countless record book animals that have never been posted, photographed or entered in any official scoring system. This thread confirms why many DIY hunters share their successes only with family and close friends.

The swaro adapter has been frustrating me. Thinking about upgrading to the outdoorsman. Do the 15s need any modification? Thought I read somewhere a stud needs to be installed.

Last year, I landed a 5B rifle with 7 points.

Might be that new Maricopa county regional park that's been in the pipeline: Vulture Mountains Regional Park. http://www.wickenburgchamber.com/nw-valley-land-will-shape-into-recreation-area/ http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/vulturemtn.aspx

You need to be licensed to transmit on the 2m HAM frequencies, but you can listen in and transmit on the MURS and FRS frequencies without license. FCC only regulates transmission on the HAM side, anyone can listen in.True, but these radios are FCC Certified for use under Part 90, which requires a license. The radios are NOT certified for use under FCC Part 95 which is required for use on GMRS and FRS frequencies, so it is not legal to use them for GMRS or FRS. The output power of these radios is also more than allowed for GMRS and FRS. If all you need is MURS and FRS, then buy the many basic radios out there without possibly violating FCC rules with the Baofeng. http://wb7tjd.org/wiki/FRS,_GMRS_and_MURS_(Radio_Services_under_FCC_Part_95_Rules)#BaoFeng_UV5R_is_Part_90_Type_Certified

I believe you have to be a licensed HAM radio operator to use the Baofeng radios.

Actually, they're calling for 1-3 inches of rain and up to 18" of snow in the White mountains. Additionally, sounds like its gonna park right over AZ through the weekend. This will be a great soaking storm!

Ever since easterners moved out west, this topic has been discussed ad nauseam. You guys already gave us liberalism....at least let us keep our method of counting antlers! Long before coues hunting was chic, mule deer hunting was king out west. More often than not, mule deer don't have eye guards. There is a big difference between a 2 point mule deer with eyeguards and a 3 point without any. Ford vs Chevy MAC vs PC Coke vs Pepsi Ginger vs Mary Ann ......carry on! :)

When everyone gets up in the morning all dressed up in their camo clothes and stand around the campfire for that one cup of coffee. Then four hours later, still around the campfire debating when to head out for the morning hunt!
