    outside faucet issue

Hey everyone. Have a strange issue with my backyard faucet having very low pressure. It barely spins the sprinkler. What's strange, is the front yard faucet has full pressure and works fine. Inside of house has full pressure also. I've checked for water leaks with none found. This is an older home up north we still own and just getting it going for summer. The backyard faucet is supplied by the indoor water supply so when I shut off the water to the house, no water comes thru. The front yard faucet its supplied by the main to the house. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    outside faucet issue

It's a freeze proof faucet. Earlier suggestion makes me believe the sillcock has failed.

    outside faucet issue

Thanks. We use lawn sprinklers for the back, no system. Was working fine last time we used it in October before shutting the house down for winter. In fact, pressure was good for as long as I can remember, 30+ years.

    outside faucet issue

Thanks. Unfortunately didn't bring my good tools up. Can take the handle off but need some wrenches to take the rest apart. Might just go buy a whole new faucet and try that out on my next trip up. Thanks again.

    Aoudad/ Barbary sheep in arizona

Pretty cool! I was curious, so did a quick google search. Found this article from June 15, 1960! http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=897&dat=19600615&id=OE1PAAAAIBAJ&sjid=SE4DAAAAIBAJ&pg=3719,7181248

Unit 4A North early rifle cow

Stay closer to the forest boundary and work the country northward. The ranch is dissected by SR 99, which becomes forest rd 34. Everything east is open year round and you will find elk there. The west side opens up at the end of your hunt. There are some hills you can glass from looking towards the north into the open juniper country. Hug the forest boundary, working those small drainages heading north and you'll find elk. Be careful not to cross the forest boundary as this is your southern border for the 4A north hunt. It will be hot for this hunt so be prepared! There are tanks in this area, but this region doesn't get as much rain during the monsoon season compared to the higher elevations to the south. And those tanks tend to dry up faster. Good luck!

    Good News!!!

You can't report that here. It's counterintuitive to the band of merry men and their death count.
  13. Man, I like that alot! Very nice work!
  14. IMO, this website, along with the various other hunting forums out there, represent <1% of the hunters in this state. Just because a successful hunt isn't posted here or elsewhere on the 'net, doesn't mean it didn't happen. There are many successful traditional hunters out there.

Rim Cell Phone Tower Petition (please sign)

Good idea, however, placing a tower on USFS land will take years to accomplish. Gov't red tape, permits, land studies, animal studies, archeology studies...etc, etc, would drag that option out. Your best bet is to find a private land owner nearby. They could then lease to the carriers. An example what's involved: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/realestate/

    G&F wolf release news

I believe this is a pre-emptive move to counter the numbers the USFWS is throwing out. We all know they(USFWS) would love to have far more wolves than this state can support. Unfortunately, this isn't 1914 anymore and the political climate is far different. We, as hunters and conservationists, can't go to the table and demand that we want zero(0) wolves. It just doesn't work that way anymore. We will lose every time. It's why we lose now. The USFWS and their lawyers were very smart in their wording when they drafted the recovery plan. The first Mexican wolf recovery plan drafted and then completed in 1982 included two simple, yet very powerful words: at least. The actual wording in the recovery plan: "........self-sustaining population of at least 100 wolves" Those two words have opened the door to a very subjective population level with no ceiling. The way the recovery plan is worded, USFWS has been given a blank check on how many wolves they hope will roam throughout the state. Remember that 700-1000 number from a few weeks back? In my opinion, this is a proactive move to counter the proposed numbers from USFWS and gain state control of the wolf issue. The wolves are here. Not much we can do about it, except limit their population.

    Our Back Yard Showdown

I wish the Feds had this much passion when it comes to securing our borders! Ironically, Bruce Babbit, the architect of the Wildlands Project, comes from a ranching family that's been in business for 125 years.

    Scope Cover?

I know you've already ordered, but in case others are looking, Sportsmans Warehouse has a neoprene cover made by Allen. I picked it up locally for $9. It's the same concept as the scopecoat and works great. http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/sportsmans/Allen-Neoprene-Scope-Cover/productDetail/Scope-Covers/prod70704/cat100749
