I've always applied on my iPad with zero problems. However, reading these issues here and on other hunting boards, I'm reluctant to give it a try this time around. Looks like I better go grab some paper apps.

Man, I just can't decide what to do with my elk app! Keep going back and forth. Lol No expectations on antelope, so that app is easy.

if you're close to 8 points (guessing you have Hunter ed point and loyalty point) I'd hold out. You can have some good Archery tags in the next couple years. Yeah I agree........but another year without a tag is a tough pill to swallow. Haha.

I'm nervous! Lol Debating if should cash in my points on a late rifle and go hunting, or roll the dice on my early archery choice. My last elk tag was 2009. Not sure if I can go another year without a tag.

A couple years ago on my turkey hunt, I was walking a known two track we've always used. No headlamp. There's a fork about quarter mile in that takes a different route. We always take the right fork. I know everything on that two track. I could walk it in the dark. So, with some moon light, I trudged along. All was good. Unbeknownst to me, while listening to gobbles, I missed the fork and kept walking on the left trail. Things didn't look right. The landmark trees never appeared. But I chalked that up to the dark. My quick pace had me on schedule. Then BAM!!!! I'm laying flat on my back, looking up to the stars. My forehead is burning with pain. I sit up and discover a golf ball size knot on my forehead! Ended up hitting a low hanging L-shaped pine branch hanging over the trail. Didn't get a turkey that morning.

That's my mental back and forth this time around. My last elk tag(bull) was in 2010. Im tired of not hunting. Cash in my points on a late rifle and go hunting or roll the dice again on an early archery bull. Decisions, decisions.....

Wow! Only five and a half weeks until elk apps are due! Time is flying by. I've got to figure out my plan!

Problem is, with the exception of the Patriots and Cardinals, every team heading to the playoffs won today. I would think momentum is important when it comes to the playoffs. The Cards came out flat and unprepared. Signs of a young team. Jimmy Johnson always preached winning momentum into to the playoffs. We'll see how this dud carries over in two weeks.

Very nice. Our gambel coveys are acting like late season birds. Think I might invest in a hawk call to maybe try and stop them....or use my .22..joking of course! Looks like a great day! With work and Christmas and family in town, I won't be back out until the new year.

It changed sometime last week. I don't like it. Especially since the classifieds forum is all the way at the bottom of the forums listings. Seems like a wasted effort. But alas, not my website, so I'll adjust!

Very cool. I witnessed one on my 2012 antelope hunt in 5B while sitting in the dark waiting for the sun to rise. It was an awesome site from my vantage point out in the middle of nowhere just west of Meteor Crater.
