I just did the opposite. Made a large online purchase for a UTV winch @ $499 just to make sure Chase doesn't suspect a "suspicious" charge. Bam! went right thru!

It was a set up to get people to not apply! Lol

Still way behind, but every little bit helps!

Police: Son knocked dad out in fight over dinnertime texting
AZ8 replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
Technology has destroyed the family. Can't tell you how many times I've been out eating wth my family and seeing the next table over with mom and dad, son and daughter, all four with their heads buried in their phones. No family interaction at all. Sad. -
Dang! That's a nice pile of gold!

Peaceful walk back to the truck.

New AZGF rule (proposed, which means it’s a done deal) about game cameras:

that google earth provision is hilarious! shaking my head. -
id rather lose my loyalty and my bonus point for 2018 if it meant avoiding a poverty tag. No way. Hunt this year's "poverty tag" and then go into 2019 with 2 points. Lose the loyalty and you'll always be behind 1 point for the next 5 years.

Old rock smelter. Vulture Mountains.

You must have different info with your portal account vs your application....i.e. email or sportsmans ID.

It still says March 1 on the most recent article dated Feb 12. https://www.azgfd.com/last-call-2018-elk-pronghorn-online-applications-due-by-1159-p-m-tuesday/

That screenshot CouesPursuit posted is a bummer. I hope that's a software oversight on the "updating credit card" page.

There will be in about 2 days. Pretty good storm coming in. Calling for 12+ inches up there.

Garage doors insulated / non insulated? Gauge ? Etc .
AZ8 replied to Eagle mountain ranch's topic in The Campfire
I always wondered why builders don't install vents in the walls. My garage gets hot as he11 too. If there were just a couple vents to move the air I think it would lower the temps a bit. -
We'll know in just a few weeks. How many of us on CWT will shake the hand of Lady Luck?

That's a great video creed! Seen it many times and never get tired of it. When I was young, I always wanted to get into falconary, but I never knew how to get started. Then life took over. Haha

Take this for what it's worth. It's just my experience and it's how I camp. I have a 120qt Coleman Xtreme that I use strictly for ice storage. I can fit about 12-14 frozen gallon jugs in it. At camp it stays in the shade, covered with a heavy sleeping bag. I do not open it until needed. A smaller Xtreme holds 8 more frozen jugs. My other smaller Xtremes hold everything else. I replace jugs as needed, taking from the smaller Xtreme first. Last years elk hunt, the 120qt stayed at camp for the entire duration. 17 days total. When breaking camp, I still had 8 jugs in the large cooler. All 8 still had at least 20% ice block in them. The remaining water was still ice cold. The cooler was still somewhat cold inside. This 120qt Coleman Xtreme cost me $54. So what's my point? With a little bit of planning and care, a person can make ice last longer then one expects without breaking the bank.

Ive killed quite a few dove out of season. Driving the 202 near Elliot there's a large dairy and the dove fly across. Think I've killed a dozen or so over the years as they meet my windshield at 65mph. Guess I'm a poacher.

I drew a tag last year and with 2 points going in, I'm not expecting much. There's always a chance!
-
Article said they have to be quarenteed for 33 days before being transported.
-
But they can cross the road. Let me tell ya.......it's no fun hitting one at 65mph. Talk about serious damage on a guy's truck! I can still see and hear the impact as if it were yesterday. This happened in 1989. Think I'd rather get hit by that goose! Lol

Yup. Can't wait. With the cc deadline of 3-1, we'll get the first hits on 3-2. Weeks earlier than before!!

I will never leave Arizona. Born and raised here. When the time comes, I'll be buried here. I only want Arizona grubs dining on me! In the mean time, working in the Valley to someday get back home to Northern Arizona. I hate the Phoenix metro area myself, been here for 27 years, but I know it's a means to an end. One day I'll be gone from here. Knothead is right. I have family that moved away and although they won't admit it openly, I know they miss Arizona. My brother-in-law travels a TON for work and he lives in Flagstaff. He goes all over the country and Canada. He's had no issues with flying out of Flagstaff. Usually flies into Sky Harbor, then goes about his business. So that's an option for you. Good luck.

Pretty cool. I'd be weary messing around after finding a dead lion without knowing cause of death. Might have the plague. http://azdailysun.com/news/local/final-tests-confirm-canyon-biologist-died-of-plague/article_8afe953a-9d83-5e15-906c-7e10d0782feb.html
