I just got the new 17 WSM. Can't wait to try it out on fox! It is a little more than the HMR, but not like the 223.

  3. Hello, I have a gen 3 Glock 23c with Trijicon night sights, 3 hi cap mags and the Glock box. I am a glock armorer and this gun is in great condition. Looking to trade for an equivalent 9mm model, such as a 19 or 17. Send a pic if you can. I am in Mesa. Thanks!
  4. I got this bow for my daughter, still too hard for her to pull back. It is 40-50 pound adjustment and 18-28 inch draw adjustment. It comes with a nice soft case, quiver, whisker biscuit, 5 pin sight. Great bow. I would be interested in a trade for a lighter weight bow also. Thanks! $150 I am in East Mesa.

Same for me as everyone else I guess....hot, lots of bugs and no bear......spoke to a warden on my way out and he heard there was 1 bear taken in 23s......unknown if it was a sow or not.

    What do you think?

.40 is fine for AZ bears. They will run away from you anyways. A taxidermist told me that bears have thin hides. He said animals that have long hair have thin skin and short hair animals like deer and cattle have thick skin. After skinning my bear last year, I found that the hide was thin, but there was like 4" of fat between the skin and the meat. I carry a .40 glock also loaded with federal 180 gr HST. Dropping a charging bear in its tracks is not likely with any pistol considering the stress and probably the surprise and speed of the encounter. Like others said, 2 legged ones can be more trouble than 4 legged ones.

    Elk, bear

The date is correct on the pics.....and....I DON"T have an elk tag this year!!!!!....what a great looking bull though. I had much better pics of elk than deer on my cam, and a few bear sightings..... here are a few more of that bull....
