My Son and Nephew got lucky and drew two Junior Cow tags this year. This was their first elk hunt and they were successful to connect with two cows on the first day around 4:30 p.m. on Friday Oct. 12th. They had three chances in the a.m. but they didn't get clear shots, so we decided to go for a hike and started following some bugles and got on a herd that had some nice bulls and about dozen cows. They had good opportunity on this heard and connected these two cows. It was a fun hunt and good memories with my two sons, nephew, and brother in law.
