Iv been able to compare the hds to my slcs a couple different times while out hunting. Yes there is a difference...but I'm not sure yet that it's worth the extra money. Say I sold mine for 1300, then news ones would be roughly 2200, I still would have to come up with 900 extra and just not sure if it's worth 900 or not yet. With that being said I will end up getting them, just not in any hurry to do so.

The real question is are the new hds worth the extra money from the regular slc?

I would think any unit in the lower 20's would be a lot easier for you. Just look at a unit map. They're all going to be drawable for you and all units hold nice deer.

There's way more units that are easier to draw, so I wouldn't hunt it just for that reason. Where do you live? That would be/is my deciding factor on where I hunt.

I'm in. I'll be shooting my stock Savage Modle 10 .243 with 95gr. Hornady superformance ammo. Vortex Viper scope with a Kenton Turret.

If I were you I'd hunt 33. There's big deer all over the place and they're easy to hunt there. All the other units around have bad genetics and only grow small deer that are hard to hunt.

I'm definitely having all my buddy's put in with me for 33 next year. Its the only unit with big bucks, all the others suck.
