Got these two last week. -
Just wanted to show off my 37b desert buck. The pigs can wait for another day. Shot him at 80 yards. Big shout out to my best friends Brian and Levi for being there and also for their help with the pack out. Now the wait for 2019 begins!

Sucks dude. I was wondering earlier today if you were able to find him, not the best end scenario. Your pretty sure it's the same deer?

I had this same hunt last year. Everything completely changed from no rut to full on getting it on literally over night.

Good write up man, congrats on a nice sheep.

Thanks John, we had a great time and everything went really well, just trying to iron out my rookie bugs. Would replacing that switch make it less touchy? I always hate bothering you with my questions but like a trooper you responded anyway!!! Thanks....Maybe replace the thermostat? I had a similar thermostat on my trailer but it had a separate on/off switch on the bottom. Dont know how much a new thermostat would cost or even if available. You should be able put any kind of thermostat on there you want. You can buy the digital battery powered ones(one triple A i think) from Walmart for like 10-15 bucks. When I had my trailer that's what I put in it.

Too me camping and hunting are two different things. Some guys like to do it that way but not me. I don't want to have to worry about making dinner and getting other stuff done every night. I'd rather drive an hour or so every night and morning. Obviously that's not the case for every hunt but I prefer it.

Glad the spot worked for you.....chrono didn't like it though....

I looked at them a few months back. Loaded down with gear and people they don't do very well in the hills. It will get you there just not very fast like mentioned before.
