I'm pretty sure you can only get the boot from a ford dealer. Maybe napa has them now but when I got mine napa told me to go to ford.

+1. When that boot comes all the way off or rips you will defenitly know. It makes a huge diffrence in the way the motor will run. I wouldn't worry about a little oil from the turbo either.

I have a 99 7.3 F250 Powerstroke 4x4 for sale. The truck has only 150k miles and motor runs strong. I have another 7.3 with over 330k miles. Best motor ford ever made IMO. The truck does need a transfer case, tranny, front drive line and wire harness to tranny due to drive line engaging while driving. The air bags did deploy as well. Everything else in the truck is in really good shape and in working order. Does have cold a/c. I have records of all service and parts. Had new turbo put on not to long ago as well. I would really like to keep this one but I have way to many other projects. My loss. Would be a good truck to fix(still has a ton of life left) or to use for parts. I will put on CW for a few days then to Craigslist it goes. 2500 or OBO. Thanks

We had a few growing up. I like them. They do make great companion dogs. They also tend to be a little more on the hyper side but very loyal. Good watch dogs too, only down side to that is they will bite if they feel they need to. That's good or bad depending in the situation.

I have the same truck with the diesel, 330k and runs like a champ. These trucks will go a very long time with out falling apart. It's hard to find these for a reason, they're worth the money. Bump for a clean looking truck.
