How was your hunt? It was great, rut was starting. Four hunters, 100"-113"-118"-122". Couldn't be much better. Dang I need to make one of these hunts happen.

Was able to take this buck Friday morning. It was foggy and raining all morning but was able to find this guy with a couple does. One shot with the trusty .243 at 250 yards and it was done. The bullet entered just behind the left shoulder and stopped just under the right jaw bone. I hunted almost every day for the past 2 weeks, so I'm looking forward to this Christmas weekend. Merry Christmas and good luck to all the guys still out there.

Congrats to Neil again. Your a stud man. It was an honor being with you when you were able to harvest this ram. As we were getting ready for the pack out he made it clear he didn't want any body having a heavier pack than him and was trying to convince us to let him take it all! Straight beast mode! they do make a 6.5 creedmoor http://www.cabelas.com/product/Tikka-T-X-Compact-Tactical-Rifle-CTR-Bolt-Action-Rifles-ndash-Blued-Black/2317941.uts I have been looking at that CTR for a little bit now in 6.5. I really want it, just not sure it's worth the $$ yet or not.
