A good way to keep your hunting dog in high prey drive condition is having them chase cats.

623 236 7733 - # for Special Draw - Draw results issues? CONFIRMED!
n2horns replied to n2horns's topic in The Campfire
Maverick351 - ouch! I too can't figure out how with left over tags that I didn't get drawn last hunt. There is some wrong in the draw process. When my friends called, GnF confirmed they paid etc and said they were left out of the draw but couldn't explain it. Next draw is back to paper. -

I understand they have issues with each draw, but can't imagine any bigger blunder than not putting someone into the draw. That by default flaws all draws. Either redo the entire draw, or issue tag(s) for all species GnF didn't put them in. American Thunder - I would also email them and get the replies in writing. TrkHuntr - dispute the charge with your credit card. You where charged for service/merchandise not received. Tell them you tried working it out with the merchant with no resolution. -
Agree with the above. Good info and advice. Also, don't over shoot and heat up the barrel. Clean barrel vs fouled barrel has variance. I foul a few shots before measuring. Not sure if you reload or not but factory ammo varies from maker to maker as well as your barrel may like one maker more than the other.

GnF has issues with this year's draw! My buddies called GnF this morning. Both GnF and my friends have receipts of entering application and paying via online system. GnF confirmed they have their receipts but do NOT have any record of GnF putting them into the draw system. GnF said they have no resolution and are trying to find a solution. If your having issues call GnF. -
After seeing Big Browns, I called his guy up and was just about to buy and send a McMilllan Game Scout. Well, I changed my mind and since I really wanted the A5, I thought it was better to wait for what i want instead of "settling" on the Game Scout. Which is a great stock to begin with. If I had a stock to do a cheek riser, i would sent it to him.

Nice, I like mine.

EE makes awesome quilts. These quilts are becoming a go to back country/backpack hunting system. Keep warm with good pad at lighter weight that full sleeping bag. I have one of Tim's (EE Owner) original quilts and it is awesome. I am getting another one, just don't know what temp yet. I would be all over this if it was X Long and Wide. Bump for a bad butt quilt!!!!!!!!

Car hart double fronts are key. I would stay away from moss green unless you are doing side work for customs. I wouldn't want to look like customs down south.

Tickets are going fast. -
I had the 7mm Savage and sold it tonight. Mine had a break on it, but never used it, as it was as easy shooter.

Keep them for when you are wearing winter layers, they'll be good.

better off being more on target at longer ranges than close ranges. Inside 400 yds is a wash, better be nuts on at 1k. Bob Beck did one of his shows on dialing to 1k in 21 bullets, using BR2. Watch it, he is playing with velocity to make longer range corrections.

When you think about it, consider it an investment in your life success, or a slight monetary upgrade with overwhelming benefits for success. Quantified by the increase of meat in freezer, better health benefits, less doctor visits, and many more friends (4 more) you can rent out the other profiles for $200.00 per hunt. pay back begins instantly. Or as Obama says you have too much already, give to others that don't have BR2 yet.

Thank you and God Bless!

Removing rubber coating from savage stock
n2horns replied to GreyGhost85's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Call Savage let them know their new stocked capped out after one hunt. Savage in my experience has been great to deal with. Or drop it into another stock mcmillan, manners, HS precision. Stuck stocks dot com has good selection and prices.
