It appears they added tags or used up some leftover tags to Javelina units that normally have leftovers. Those tag numbers should be generic ie., 9999. The turkey draw seems to be the worst as those hunters had money taken in full but never got into the draw to get a hunt number nor a bonus point. This seems to be the extra draw being done and if you choose to be included you release GnF of law suit and responsibility.

Your credit or debit card number could have been taken a long time ago. It is bought and sold and then maybe used 6 months later. This time of year is easy for thieves because of so many transactions. Never use debit cards. Make sure your new credit cards are chip cards. So sometimes a breach occurs and that's another ball game. Good luck.

There are many options in both armor and plate carriers. Something for home defense /SHTF I found some low visibility vests that aren't LE/MIL appearance nor have a ton of molle attachements. Good thing we or most of us live in AZ where we can have and get just about anything we want shipped to us.

Interested in opinions on the plate carriers from, Banshee, ATS Aeigs v2, and Balcs. I want to use a composite ceramic or ar680. I know Balcs has armor carriers too. If there are other good options or a lighter setup, would like to know.

LMAO. Seriously GnF is jacked up on this draw. I think it is Mr Napaletanoes handy work, we kmow it's Obummers since he is either on vacation, blaming cops, giving money to his relatives or still blaming GW.

The vest is more for SHTF than anything else. I like the looks of the Balcs LVR, as it is modular to be somewhat incognito and can add load equipment easily. Something to carry few AR and listol mags.

Why not. Never hurts to be prepared. Plus, you see the crap in California, and it is not a free state.

They were calling hunters regarding a special draw due to the mess they have with this last draw. I have friends that didn't get into the draw at all, but had money withdrawn and nothing given in terms of BP or a tag. I am sure GnF gave a bunch of Javelina tags to all those that were left out of the draw, but how do you fix turkey, especially with those going for Goulds and such limited tags at that. All I know is i will not be doing any online / CC with GnF, all paper and checks.

Anyone having issues with the draw results? Between several friends, all put in via online system and have varied resuls, from no issues to not having any results shown at all and some a mixed bag, had results with skewed data. Like drawn for turkey and javelina doesn't even show up as if it was not applied for. Something is either gone way wrong or they prematurely released results.

Some on the market are Atlas, Bob Becks from Extreme aouter Limits, and Evolution. I use Atlas but like the styles of Bob AND evolution. Others have stated other brands. It depends on what height you need and purpose.

Lifestraw or sawyer water bottle are good and light options. Each filter has a gallon life span. Also the smaller the filter pores the better it is. Sometimes people will use drops or tablets. I take tablets just incsse.

I use the Platypus Big Zip with the Sawyer big squeeze filter. I run a quick disconnect in my drink tube, then have a dirty water bladder with a connection that I plug into my drink tube with sawyer filter and push the dirty water thru the filter into the Big Zip in my pack. That way you can hang the dirty water with filter and let gravity run thru the filter and fill up other water containers at camp. The Sawyer Mini, will be run this year as an inline filter in my drink tube. The dirty water will be poured into the bladder in my bag or take the bladder out and refill it with dirty water. Remember once you use the bladder as dirty water, don't drink from it without a filter/filtering it. I use the dromolite bags for extra water storage (dirty) so that way I can get water when i see it.
