Anyone have any reviews on the new 2017 Power Wagon? I am looking at new trucks and have a 2006 F150 FX4 now and getting ready to replace it. I like the PW setup with solid front and rears, detachable fronts, better clearance etc.... I know the new F150s come with a ton of stuff and I do like the bucket seats with the center console shifter. The f250s are great and are column shifter, but then not sure if I really need to go with a ford or ram in 2500 series. I don't do a lot of towing, but do a lot of scouting, hunting and camping and think the Ram PW would be a better fit. Would love to hear some feedback, thanks Andrew

Test drove the Power Wagom, about 62k. The truck is nice and simple layout, a more utilitarian style. It is a tad sluggish when hammering down to get it moving. I then test drove the new 3.5 ecoboost 10 speed F150 and with the small stock tires it was a screamer. The next 3.5 10 speed F150 was lifted with 35's and that still moved quite well. I noticed that the new 10 speeds are either running 3.73 or 3.55 gears. Has anyone run the 10 speed 3.5 ecoboost with 35's and anyone have issues? Any need to change gears from 3.55 or 3.73 to 4.10? I think my new truck will be the 10 speed f150.

I see more useful adds on the PW that are geared for offroad/hunting style. I think Fords are much more refined and luxurious. The Raptor is nice but is more of a racer high speed and PW a workhorse fkr offroading. The new F150s are spendy in the 65k range and almost seem to pretty to get dirty. We dont buy trucks for milage but for their use.

QC or further east to STV is great. Pork Shop, good eats coming in and food truck fridays. Still places with rural feel and I have been out here for about 14 years now and love it. Ah yah the archery shop, still need to hit that up.

you know you can order all your groceries online and they deliver to your door. The rest you buy from Amazon. All your hunting, camping and fishing items can be bought online. You never have to leave your house until you go hunting, fishing or camping. The money saved on gas not driving around, you can spend on the psychiatrist convincing yourself you dont have a problem.

This is not good news at all. GnF taking away more tags and giving to youth potentially. They can't generate or retain youth hunters after high school. Why does GnF seem to think that youth retention is a high factor to chase and give tags too. Youth leave from high school and go to college/work, they will be gone until they are in their late 20's and may pick it up after that. some may not even start till 30's. GnF spends too much time and money on retention, which is the wrong direction to look. GnF wants more tags in the field like before, they increase # of hunts and reduce the hunt time. It is all about revenue for GnF, their sustainment dollars to keep them going year to year. Going after youth reteintio is a losing proposition, it hurts all of us badly. If GnF wants to do it right, chase the 30's something with kids and get the parents engaged in hunting thus driving kids into hunting.

Wanted to give a thumbs up to the Liberty Safe store in Gilbert azlibertysafe.com or 1-800-4A-GUNSAFE. They did a safe move and install for me, professional, quick and careful on damage. They will even scan for post tension for bolting. 2nd time I have used them and it was well worth it. Side note for lights for inside safes - found these on Amazon and youtube for like 50 bucks, compared to liberty safe at 160.00. https://www.amazon.com/Cabinet-Lighting-Extendable-Daylight-UL-listed/dp/B01FDAET80/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498709483&sr=8-1&keywords=torchstar+6+piece
