Dang govt always ruining are fun, thougth the land was for the people by the people, not tyrannical managed for no use by govt. There should never be closures, restrictions or fees to use our lands. -
That smoker is still a good unit, yes trager or camp chefs are great, each serves a purpose. My buddy has I think 5 pelllet smoker each assigned to its own protien.

Yep SCI has some coverage and around 10 miles out can be had, mostly text get thru. I have had some 4g and been great and then poof ifs gone. Then you get Mexican service too if you wish. A few too many beers at sea and waves, I wouldnt use my cell on deck. Seen a few go flying luckily none splashed down.

Bite usually is good on windy days, i hate fishing in high choppy swells. Fished many days after storms that came thru So Cal, and have beennlike a washing machine out there

How sudddzy does it get, not much water to shower with. Does it rinse off really easily? I have been using the shower pouch, scented free.

I would do that boat any which way, even a private charter 1.5 would be best. Nice and stable for fiahing. After this covid crap, I will booking a 2.5 on Aztec again.

You putting it on the red boat? I have done 6 packs as chartermaster and this last one i did half down, half at boat amd had caveat. You flake, you lose the money unless I can fill the spot. I also collect minimum 20% tip upfront. If you liked the service, you can tip more. You can also leave the tipping to 100% on the angler.

Well, just got back to my sister amd BIL house. Did a 6 pack off a 50ft sportfisher yacht and we go skunked. Had fish all over almost every stop. Good jumpers too. My cousin hooked one and forgot to keep a finger on spool and went for the handle, well kaboom there is the biggest birds nest ever and line snaps and gone. I got one with Tranx 400 and 20lb line and number 1/0 hook, great fight, it was back and forth and almost spooled me, got back half the reel, and sawed off. I threw a madscad and iron jig and no luck. We could not land one, nore get any more bites. Bait was purchased night before and was beat up, I think fresh bait would have helped. Still had a blast and great trip with family.
