If it were me Id stay at Apache and fish deep deep. Like on cliff walls in between the marina and the dam on the channel side of the lake and fish in between 70 and 20 foot of water with drop shots and spoons. If the lake is up the tuleys/grass could be good too. I just havent had much faith or luck in rosey over the passed couple of years. Hopefully with those new Florida strain it will turn around. I'v just caught alot more Fish at Apache the last few years. Number and Size.

Everybody posting these pictures made me wanna go check my cam. Looks like bears are out forsure, my salt lick was moved several feet and my camera was layin on the ground (still in one piece) with only a few elk and a couple pictures of sasquatch right before she went out of business. Nice picures though!

Whats everyone's opinion on how far to set up your pop-up from your attactant i.e. salt,water??? Alot of the time it is hard to get any further than 20-25 yards for me due to thick vegetation. Is that a little risky?

I had Three Different bucks visit this winter hopefully they return in velvet maybe a little bigger! Also had some deer and elk at the same time.

Its just a few mineral licks from the feed store. The elk have torn up the ground pretty good theyre there everyday hope they dont scare the whitetails away! and would it be legal to find acorns nearby your stand and pile them all up in one place?

Would you guys consider the following buck a hybrid with the given evidence hard to tell but pretty significantly different. The "suspect" hybrid is a small buck barely forking at the top and the bottom deer is a descent 2x2 mulie and the one in between is a doe mulie (obviously), The one with a weird tail acted much more skidish than his partners, and was sizeably smaller. This area is full of mulies and has few records of whitetails being seen or harvested still. What do ya think?

Your brother and I were out quail hunting once and a covey of quail burst into flight across a revine right as I brought my gun up to fire on the one quail I picked out a red tailed hawk swooped it right outta the air I almost shot!!! Ry saw the whole thing his reaction was priceless.
