I have had my Pronghorns since 2008 and they are the best boots I have ever owned. They are light, comfortable and I have never gotten wet feet in snow, rain or even walking in ankle deep water. Mine do not have the heel or toe protector but it hasn't seemed to affect their performance. After every hunting trip I just put shoe polish on them, buff them out and then spray with Camp Dry or something similar and they are like new again. I love them and I think you would be happy with them if you decided to buy them.
Hey Ernesto,
Sorry I took so long to reply. My name is Donnie and I am a Marine stationed here and originally from Tucson. I was on my way to PT that morning that you honked and gave me a thumbs up. I grew up chasing those little, crafty grey ghosts in Units 33 and 34A and hoping to get drawn this year to go do it again! Hope to see you 'round town again at some point and be able to shoot the breeze with you!
Man, I have the November hunt this year for mulies and you guy's are bumming me out saying there aren't any good deer in this unit. Hopefully with a little luck my dad and I will tag out! I plan on getting a couple scouting trips in before opening day, depending on what the USMC has in store for me between now and then. Right now, just been scouring google earth for pond/water locations and scout those areas when I get the chance.
