Well we had a great trip. All 5 of us killed a nice antelope and 1 guy in the group was able to kill a nice bear.
  5. The rancher got tired of people not closing the gate. In 36A there are too many people that either do not know or care about the importance of leaving a gate the way you found it. I have hunted in 36a for 20 years and have spoken to him many times about the status of gates, damage done during hunting season, and trash left st camp sites. I personally have gone out after hunting season and cleaned up several camps. So that piece of land is deeded and he has locked the corral. Lee

    Way off topic

I know this has nothing to do with hunting. I have this vase that was given to me about 12 years ago by a Korean family. They told me it was done by a most famous Korean artist. I have tried to locate someone who might know who did it and a possible value. However no one has been able to help. I thought I would put it out here because of the diversity of the CW community. The marks on the bottom are the artist's signature.

Take a look at Weller's Wildlife Studios. They are in Tucson and they do great work. Gavin does great lions and leopards. I bet you will be more than pleased with them. Lee

    Lion Rug Mounting

here are a couple of pictures of my lion. G and F said she was 10-12 years old. Half her tail is missing and she is pretty scared up from fights. Wellers Wildlife studios had hooks sown into the feet head and tail so you could hang it on the wall. But I like it in front of the TV better. []
  24. A close friend of mine just gave me a rifle. His health has deteriorated to the point of not being able to hunt any more. The gun he gave me is a Sako L57 243 serial number 6933. Does anyone know anything about this rifle. it shoots tacks. I have shot it a few times in the past and really like this gun. I plan to use it as my deer rifle from now on. Thanks for any info you can give me. Lee
