I know it seems really hard to come by, but if you take a few minutes searching online, you can find it. I just ordered 10 boxes from buds guns last week. There are other places that have it in stock also. Just have to pay the hazmat charges for shipping, but at this point, its about the only way to find some. Below is a quick search. Looks available. https://www.rogerssportinggoods.com/hornady-6-5-creedmoor-143-gr-eld-x-precision-hunter?quantity=10

I love my pit boss 820. Has an 18 pound hopper I believe. Two well sized grates that can hold quite a bit of meat. The 1100 Austin has 3 grates i believe. When I tried to do my research, it was frustrating. Seems most people love one brand, hate the other. Traegers are a bit more pricey but work well also. Pit boss are heavier gauged material from what I could tell. Lowes should have products assembled for pit boss. Good luck. I'm so glad I went with a pellet smoker. Theyre awesome.

🤦♂️Not a naive Arizonan and never said there wasn't. Youth have a limited time frame to hunt youth hunts. I've applied my son for three years for youth deer hunts, with the "opportunity" hunts as 3rd-5th choices... Not this year unfortunately. These are his first 3 years of being able to hunt big game. He doesn't build points because we look to get the opportunity tags and he has been fortunate to draw those 3-5th choice. To have a youth tag on some of these hunts is a dang good tag to have in the pocket of a youth hunter. I could go on and on about all the squirrel, rabbit, quail, javelina hunts, fishing opportunities etc etc etc we utilize as an Arizonan. Big difference between a rabbit and a deer or an elk. If a youth were to draw a youth tag 5/8 years out of the luck of the draw, while another kid has applied for the same hunt but is always willing to have a 3-5 choice with a general hunt and never gets a chance to hunt a youth hunt due to the luck of the draw, I'm sorry, that's not equitable. And no, these aren't your 2% draw odd hunts. Like I stated, I'm not for letting youth go without an opportunity to hunt. IMO, youth and new to hunting folks need to be in the field with opportunities to hunt, and yes, to hunt "draw" hunts. AZ has a pretty dang good drawing system, but there are still things that could help be more equitable with our recruitment for those youth and new to the game.

I thought only 10% could go to non residents anyway? Idk if the out of staters are to blame. Itll be interesting to see the point creep for those that cashed in on a wet year, for those that played the game for such an occassion. Unfortunately, have to play the game differently now for those units that typically held leftover tags. Hate to see more regulation but I'd like to see something done to help youth get more opportunities to hunt youth hunts. I've put my boy in for three consecutive years with youth hunts at around 40% odds to draw, first and second choices, followed by traditionally leftover tag units. He hasn't drawn a youth hunt yet, while watching other youth draw it consecutively year after year for the same hunt. This year, unfortunately, those typical leftover tags were not able to be picked up as a 3-5 choice like they generally were, and he got skunked this year..... maybe youth can draw a youth hunt every third year, but still be able to apply for all other hunts. Idk if theres an easy solution, but I think that it could be more equitable for youth.

A process and platform like New Mexico has for their leftovers and youth encouragement tags of the past would be awesome.

No doubt! Feelin the same pain

In the world we live in, i would think this does happen unfortunately. I'm sure to some extent, they do purchase licenses, then enter the draws. 20% seems like a crazy high number once all of that is calculated into money but I wouldn't put it past them.
-
Yes. This happened to us. There must have been a gigantic increase in applications, as some of the hunts we applied for have always had leftovers. When we applied, it wasn't even a question to put some choices 3-5, as we figured we would draw, given the last decade had tags leftover in large quantities. Moving forward, have to totally figure out a different strategy.

It's a law in AZ they cant. Simple fix, allow a backup credit card to be charged if the first one were declined. Or, have a tutorial video on the website to show how to update cards. 🤪

So the guy that said to leave the dashes and make sure there isnt a space after the last number in the order is correct. I just tried and it worked, dashes and all. I entered the entire number, which included the words "DRAWAPP-"

Join the club. I have the same problem

Anyone Updated Payment Info?

Just tried to update mine. No payment record. Copied and pasted. The system did the same thing for my elk apps. -

I had the same problem for the elk draw. I wanted to move cards for some reason I dont remember now. It was the same as you're talking about. Copied/pasted etc etc. I never got it to work. Good luck with it. -
Hope to have the boy draw a youth hunt. Other than that, October whitetail.... the best.

I prefer a non insulated boot in AZ personally. I bought the Idaho GTX last year after several miendls, danners etc. Crispi, to me, is the best boot I've worn. Awesome feel, excellent ankle support and they wear very well.
