DesertBull: the Gila river corridor isn't within the OTC boundaries; looking at the picture, it could be on the corridor side of the highway.... It could've been a bull one of the tag holders could've taken on the limited opp hunt coming up; too bad on that.

I've seen several on the road from Jakes Corner to Roosevelt the last few years. They're really cool lizards.

Get that dew point up there and we will start seeing some good storms. Been getting a little bit up in the white mountains but those cloud bases are still pretty high up. Can't wait for a good cool drencher!

Any info on containment? Upper level winds seem to have a little more westerly flow today as overhead smoke is more over eagar today vs yesterday. Let's hope that firefighters and folks property stays safe. 400" bulls are secondary to that.

Its a pure money standpoint for the game and fish. Tines talked about the "survey" that they conducted a few years ago. He's exactly right about that. The precedent has been set. They don't care (big wigs) about the quality of animals that are there as long as they get their money. Its amazing that as much as is discussed about "drought" and the impact that it has on numbers, the g and f keep shelling out tags like we have the numbers like back east. It won't ever change guys. Money talks. We hunters in the field who "see" the changes don't matter in the so called "management" of the wildlife in this state. We still don't even have mandatory reporting.... That's a no brainer IMO

This is exactly why I would never post pics on this site. Just like I'm real glad my buddy didn't post his 117" coues deer last year. Always seems to be something that has to happen and negativity start. Wonder when this thread will get locked up....
